Still so strange to see Jon with a woman, and a pretty one as well. I'll be watching for this show but now back to single Jon and the good times on Cats.
The most original entertaining show on TV for many a year... superb.... using Ian Andersons outstanding music from 'Stand Up' is another stroke of genius... it fits superbly as an off centre embellishment (I assume this is a bit of a pun) .... but would love to know if Jon is a real Jethro Tull fan... and I'm with him on Jake Thackery.. the underrated english northern comic poet and then some...
I remember seeing John in bits and pieces over the years and remember him on Richard Bacon's Beer & Pizza Club show and thought that was his lot, I am so happy to see him in Cats does countdown, and all his successes
Aww - she’s quiet just like him >3< at first I thought wow she’s pretty ... how John? HOW?!? But after viewing the clip they seem like they suit each other really well. 😊
@@humixmusic4lyf it always reminds me of the time when magician Paul daniels (who was married to his much younger magicians assistant). His wife went onto a talk show (mrs Merton show) as a guest. One of the first questions was "sooo... what first attracted you to multi millionaire Paul daniels." Lol.
comments on this are varying degrees of strange hahaha... jon struggles with obsessive compulsive disorder, he wrote a book in 2011 discussing relationships and how he struggled to get in one mainly because anxiety had such a handle on his life, he was genuinely depressed etc at this time. lucy has clearly come along and made him better, and i dont know every degree of the guys life but he sure seems a lot happier and healthier. weird ass comments to be making about them as a pairing etc when you know nothing about either of them or their dynamic apart from whatever you see on tv
or maybe he played the single lonely guy for the cash, built up the bucks to have a good life and along comes Love. for Love or Money, if it's Love you're in Luck and you get to keep your money.
NOOOOOO!!!! Every couple who does a reality show about their own lives gets divorced! Every one!! Stop it now, you two! I don't want you to break up. :(
My wonderful sister and her fantastic partner, Gordon, live in Hebden Bridge; a pretty, unique, vibrant and resilient hamlet. Our unique mother and lovely stepdad are in the next village. Just when I thought Hebden couldn’t get any better, along comes John and his delightful wife! Magic!🌈❤️🥂 xxx
Mike Campbell .interesting article. Funnily enough, my sister has a few lesbian friends. Didn’t realise it was above average though. To be fair, I live in Blackpool, which has a very public gay scene. Isn’t it great that people are finally allowed to be who they are, with far less judgmental reaction than previously? 😊👍
Love the fact they live up where I grew up like, Hebden really is a beautiful place like, lol its a fucking strange place haha but its a lovely one, especially up not tops like
@@MattJames1958 yeah... right....the fact that nobody really knew who she was and he is a multimillionaire and a very famous comedian had nothing to do with it 😒😒😂😂😂
@@richardgrace4500 yeah but why do you have to be so cynical, it’s clear she loves him she didn’t marry him just for money or because no one else would
But why does the link in the description box take me to a guy modifying an acoustic guitar? It says to see more of Jon and Lucy. Am I missing something?
when I heard he was married, it was ah, how nice, when I saw to whom he is married, I said, AWRIGHT BUDD!!! Married UP!! Scored Deluxe!! Smart, Quick, Lovely, should have been on Cats and Countdown A LOT MORE OFTEN. Keeping her all to yourself, until recently, now it's' Jon Richardson? yeah he's got a great life, now. She's Lovely.
You are high right? He could have easily gotten WAY better looking if he had wanted to and looks were what mattered to him.... he has always been able to get women to eat right out of his hand... just go back on any of the shows he has been on and just pay attention to how the women look at him
I’m not disagreeing with you... but have you never watched any show he has ever been on? he has constantly had women eating out of the palm of his hand
He's funny, he's open about what he wants and doesn't want, and he's not too full of himself. He also doesn't look too bad. Sure, he's not a 6"2' stud with an eight-pack and guns the size of a small child, but who really wants that kind of thing anyway? He might be a bit neurotic, and definitely a neat freak, but I do think one can work with that. Also, none of us know how he is behind closed doors. No idea how much of his stage persona is actually real. Also, it probably didn't hurt that he's presumably quite wealthy.
You must not have his sense of humor which is fair enough... he tends to be more dry humor more than anything else just like his wife... dry humor isn’t funny to everyone
