Patricia started working with us as a young intern through C-CAP - Careers through Culinary Arts Program, which provides culinary training for underserved teens and prepares many for potential careers in hospitality. Fast forward a couple years and she’s already a part of menu planning at Red Rooster Harlem! I love that Patricia also acts as a young mentor to me by introducing the me to the latest dishes from the Dominican Republic and even telling me about what’s happening beyond food in popular culture.
