The documentary on the Rutland RR was excellent. My grandparents were friends with a retired (1960) Rutland Railroad telegraph operator, and he used the Morse code.
The bulk of the steam motive power,on the Rutland in the 40's and 50's,was NYC derived! The 4-8-2's were even classed as L's,and were copies of the L-2's! So Al Perlman still had NYC power running in a not so obvious place! Alco really did far better,than the current history presents! Can you do a video on how from the late 1800s were it was back breaking work putting coal into the tender to how the different types of coal elevators that existed in the weight capacity of them that gravity fed into the engine tender for the coal? I have not seen one of those videos ever. Muchly appreciated.
