alantutorial is not strange once you know the meaning of the channel. It was made by Alan Resnick who is a filmmaker that is famous for working on stuff for Adult Swim. He made the channel as an Art Project as a commentary on how most Tutorial videos on RU-vid kinda suck.
Not so fun fact: The tutorial how to pick up a chair has a dark meaning. Apparently the chair represents Alan’s dead mother. I got this info from another youtuber named super horror bro btw. He covered a video on the topic of Alan tutorial

ive been watching dj every evening for a long time. it doesnt matter which channel i watch, once i get done with my work of the day, (its usually around 7pm) i just hop on yt and binge his videos while i eat. can't wait to watch this tonight! keep up the vids dj !

Like I legit found a video saying "How to protect your trolley from improvised explosions", "Is your car safe from a supermanuverable air attack fighter plane?" etc.
