You are so blessed to have 20 students. Smaller class sizes do help when it comes to teaching students because you are able to reach more of their academic and social needs. What a wonderful idea for both the kids and the parents! I've been amazed at how many parents not only don't know anything about those to whom they are entrusting their children for so many hours per week, but don't even seem to be interested. This is wonderful to help make the kids more comfortable/less nervous, but for the parents as well.

I absolutely love the keychain idea! I am beginning a bachelors program in education soon and you are exactly what I aspire to be as a teacher and even more!!☺️

The key chain for their backpacks is such a cute idea...This could be a good Christmas gift for my second graders! I'm gonna be honest though...when you first showed the keychain I was wondering how a first grader could possibly use a keychain. ( This is what happens after too many years of adulting) Lol!

HI 👋 where did you the "I Promise" worksheet.?

Miss May I wish my son had a teacher as sweet as you😭. My son just started kindergarten this pass week. All my son got was a supplies list and a contract for me to sign promising my child will follow the rules. On the first day of school my son and I were so excited but it was crush when I wasn't even allowed to walk my son to his class. The teacher was blocking the door. She asked my child his name and that was that. 5 days later I still don't know what his class looks like or where he sits☹️. Parents of the other kindergarten classes are welcome but not my Childs teacher. On the second day of school she was complaining because he got up without asking. I told her "I'm sorry he's just starting school he doesn't know all the rules and regulation" I also hear her tell another teacher(2nd day of school) that she doesn't baby her students which is fine but a little kindness goes a long way especially to the little ones who are all new to the public school environment.
