Among the thousands of foreign soldiers who are fighting alongside the pro-Russia separatists of the Donetsk People’s Republic is an American fighter known simply as “Texas.”
In this dispatch, VICE News correspondent Simon Ostrovsky speaks with Texas about the reasons behind his involvement in Ukraine's ongoing conflict.

Also important to note many of the translations are off, and clearly biased trying to portray him negatively. He's saying right sector are Pederasts, not that slur. You can literally hear it, that word barely needs translation and they morphed it. Anything to sell more copied, unwittingly or unintentionally manufacturing propaganda.

You are correct as a matter of fact if Russell Bentley is caught up with American politics he will find out the Confederate one was sent North to Washington DC on the day of Trump's January 6th coup. If Donald Trump loses the election in November and carries out another one on its fourth anniversary Pro Trump supporters that fought for the Russians and came back home carry Both the Confederate and Novorossiya flags all the way to Washington since they see zelensky's Ally the Democratic Party under Joe Biden Kamala Harris and Gottheimer as fascists. Remember Trump is indeed a Ally to Vladimir Putin you can easily see this in him praising The Invasion more recently if NATO were to be delinquent in Europe Russia is allowed to invade them.

Don't think this guy could have been worse at acting as public relations for the DPR if he tried. His points were ill thought out and incoherent, and he fails to see that both sides of this conflict are caused by elites on both sides of the equation. Want to fight for Russia? Go ahead, but don't delude yourself into thinking that you're fighting for anything more than ensuring Russia's oligarchy has access to eastern Ukrainian heavy industry.
