His mother was born in Korea then moved to Taiwan. She said this in one of Toast irl streams when he was in Taiwan for his brother's wedding.

Looking at body language alone you could tell who the weird ones were in the group. Fed puts his hands on her shoulders midway of the hug as if he's trying to push her off him. Albert scurrying away like a rat from a mother's hug is also really telling. Anyone who's not receptive to a mother's hug is a red flag for creepy weirdness and turns out those two were the outcasts of the group. Body language in interactions speaks volumes.
