The turret traverse on the Vladivostok is actually god tier. It’s 28.6 with my build with Kedrov. Accuracy is decent close range. Great ship, great vid! Thanks Spartan.

Really good looking ship, I only found Russian BB's(tier 3-4-5) on russian Crates but what I noticed, especially on The tier 5, that it's really good firing while escaping enemies

Nice review, looks a good ship I like the fact it has balancing factors. A great tip i got from tbull for when I use any bb with flat turret fronts is to angle the guns away between shots, works surprisingly well. Depends how many people are shooting at you tho.

Little tip for the Vlad and Jean Bart, turn your turrets while you're in the reload so no one gets a straight shot at the turret fronts, anything with flat turret faces will get knocked out super easily

the back turret being so close to the secondary tower can be due to multiple reasons. usually it's because there simply isn't enough space to place it further back due to the hull not being deep enough there. also depends the internal layout of the ship itself.

Based on what I researched, they placed the stern turret there because the stern of the ship was too heavy, they did many changes to the ship to counteract this such as remove the centerline rudder, though I’m not sure if the stern turret was placed further ahead because of the weight. I think the Russians just thought it was a good design.

Right now, I'm just grinding ol izzy cause I got her in a crate, enjoying it so much, can't wait to play the rest of the Russian BBs

The reason the turrets are positioned that way is so they could have a larger turning radius. If you are ever running from a fight those turrets and hit most anything behind you

Aah The Vladivostok...good ship in the right hands :) Big guns, accurate at mid range and absurd amount of armors exchange huge citadel. a Bismarck tried to sneak my Vlad, but luckily with 14 sec rudder shift i could bow tank despite the horrendous turning circle. It's a ship that makes you think: *should i brawl like german?* 😂 *Edit: by example you have to wide putin meme in this ship when you try to get close personally*

Was fighting one of these bow on in my Sinop at 8km. Just couldn't get any pens at superstructure level when he was nose in (had to ram him to death). Also didn't think 15 inch guns can really damage those turrets on the Vladi. Am looking forward to it, but will have to start pimping Gellar. 👍

I think the gigantic bow is similar in purpose to the Bismark and scarnhorst classes for not getting completely swamped in the north Atlantic ECT, like most royal navy bb's that don't have the raised Atlantic bow

The turrets placements and quantity is determine to keep the balance and weight , if they put one more turret at the front it would be front heavy and if they put rear turret further back it would be unbalanced, those guns are massive and need a lot of 'ship' to support it

The Russian battleships were so worth the wait. I got 165k in my third game with the Pyotr Velikiy, and 196k in my second Izmail game. Looks like the Vladivostok will be more of the same. It hits with the force of 170 million Soviets. And now they're available to all, they are at last _our_ battleships.

Hi Spartan, I think aft-tanking is a better strategy...1. quicker to disengage and 2. Only 1 gun exposed I run it with Kedrov with Cunningham/Von Essen and a high secondary spec.

You could use kedrov instead of madden turret traverse.

If you're looking for turret traverse, kedrov is better than madden, but you dont get the reload buff.

Great video as usual. I personally like Sinops better, this ships seems like an HE magnet to me and I don’t find it that accurate

So actually the Vladivostok seems a bit better than our famous bismarck if played right obliviously. I'm better with Iowa but the Vlad will be a new experience👌

This never existed in real life, it's a paper ship. The only battleship that actually existed was gangut.

Spartan OMG! Why did you use Madden instead of Kedrov is the inspiration to fix Turret Traverse?!?! Madden barely improves it at all and Kedrov radically improves it... that makes no sense it's not like you don't have any leveled up you just took him off of the other ship

Finally I get my hands on it! Vladivostok looks exactly how I hoped. A ridiculous armor when you angle, like all Russian BB. It doesn’t give a flying f*** to 16inch guns! Take notes Bismarck ! Its guns are devastating when you get use to them. The proud of the Glorious Soviet Navy 👌

The RNG in this game, I think, has a tendency to protect players who under perform. Which might help the longevity of the game idk, but I think that is what happens. I just hope this game doesn’t turn into World of Tanks on Console. That game is trash compared to how it used to be.

I really hate how many of the Russian ships are a paper navy. If they didn’t exist they shouldn’t be in the game. That goes for any ship in any nation in my opinion.
