American racing is not the Sport of Kings. It's the Sport of Real People, who work in the trenches, own homes, pay taxes but few of whom will ever have the horses to compete at the very top of racing but who help fill out cards across the country -- and when they do get a good horse, they know what to do with it. They are trainers such as Denis Roberson, in racing for 45 years, always doing much of the work himself. Here, we let you get to know Denis.
