i feel like Maxine and Dave could have a great relationship if Maxine wasn’t constantly shut out by him to protect his kids

It's a complicated situation for sure, but Maxine does deserve better. It must be awful to have to stand there and be denied again. I do hope they can overcome this though. No doubt Dave will turn into a villain but I'm enjoying his character so far. I'm also enjoying the new family, the mum, in particular, seems like a great actress.

It's like what happened with the Lomax family, when they had found out that they had another brother. They would get annoyed about it at first but would later like the fact that they've got another sibling. They should feel lucky to have a sister like Maxine.

This is the third family, that I can remember, to move in and have a long lost connection to an established character. First, the Lomax family moved in and Danny found out Ste was his long lost son on an accidental date. Then, the Nightingales moved in and youngest son Alfie found out that Cindy was his biological mother and not Marnie (I think Mac intentionally moved them so Alfie could get to know Cindy and also to annul/dissolve their marriage so he could marry Neeta).

The Chen Williams' have a lot of promise to be involved in great storylines, look at what happened when the Nightingales arrived and all the storylines they've had over the years.

After saying Maxine was a customer I don't blame her for telling Dave to get lost.Her biological parents are really miserable ppl Maxine should take care of Minnie and Warren.

Ok, well I get David's point. I'm think he is just trying to think on how he could find the right moment in telling them. I get Maxine's point too. But she should understand. He did say he would like to keep it on the Down low and should respect his decision and then tell them. But I understand that she feels pushed aside.
