I spent the last week watching “Meet Yourself” and wasn’t planning on making a video for this drama. But this drama surprised me with its script, acting from all characters (even the supporting ones), and LOTS of meaningful aspects of life through the conversations and stories of each character.
This short video just tells about one story out of the many many stories within this drama. The plot of the drama is so simple that some may say it’s boring and slow. This drama is not meant to be binge, but savored over days of enjoyment. This was a slice-of-life drama that showed the slow build-up of a romantic relationship everyone should want. It had strong female friendships with beautiful countryside scenery … and so much good food.

This drama came as a blessing for me, I've recently lost my beloved Grandma and after her funeral was done and in few days all the relatives left, life felt really empty and heart and mind were also restless, then I found this and it healed me alot. I can connect to the story in more than many ways, I am sure this is true for alot of people also. This drama is a real Gem.

Ditto!!! This was the best CDRAMA i have watched and for me this is top2 Asian drama all time. Compared to Cute Cringey Romance and wuxia. I prefer a soothing slice of life that has romance and this one was IT! every character in here had a role. The kids, the grannys and auntys... The asthetics of the village.... so so good

In a normal plot, to fill 40 episodes, the broken smartphone will lead to a misunderstand, that will take 5 episodes to get cleared, but this show has stories for each single character, thats why they don't need this type of cliché. And there's no real evil character/antagonist in this show, perfect for a healing drama. Great edit as always.

This is such a soulful drama. Not only the main couple, each and every character of this drama has their own story. From little children who are left with their grand parents, to the mid-aged or older generation people who has to work to earn even if their health doesn't allow as much as when they were younger but still has to persist, to the urban people who couldn't deal with various societal pressure and took time off to spend time in the village; this drama deals with all kinds of people and they are very normal people. This drama is awesome.

This drama for me is unique I don't need see big City or big builder to enjoy an excellent drama.... was a simple storyline Xu Hongdou looking for heal her best friend die, trying discover what's really wants, then she meet amazing and beatiful people in Yunnan Village about all Xie Zhiyao fall in love with him step by step a perfect match, characters support have their own story setbacks, fears with true friends and yourself go on.... you learn a lot in this drama and the ost so touching complement the storyline.... Liu Yifei and Li Xian excellent chemistry and performance

When i first started watching this series, I thought I will be bored after some episodes but honestly i wasn't. It made me completely immersed in its story and every character felt real to me , no overdramatic antagonist or such that. It was one my favourite or the favourite cdrama of all time till date.

I loved those two so much! As I started this dramas I was sceptical because of the amount of episodes and the plot, which seemed to be not that interesting, but I was hooked by the first episode. And those two are the most beautiful and natural couple I've ever seen in a drama! This was such a healing and therapeutic drama for me. Will never forget. It's sad that there are not many fanmade videos of them or this drama out there, so I'm thankful for you putting their story in here! Hopefully more people will learn of this gem of a drama :)

Such a beautiful ,charming,simple but elegant drama ...that i saw in a long time...each and every episode so wroth to watch without any skipping ....they gradually falling in love slowly and most understanding each other ..... The story is amazing, the set, the actor, the songs, they are all amazing. No dramatic antagonist, everyone has green flag charactr, so calm, feels so real. The most soothing cdrama … best so far!! Best storyline too!! Teaches one the joys and intricacies of everyday life and relationships. It includes people from the youngest age to the oldest, the weirdos, the temperamental, the humble, the gossipers, the lazy, the hard working, the wise and many more that represents a typical community or village! Прекрасный, спокойный сериал, про то, что другие люди могут залечить наши душевные раны. Красивые актеры, хороший сюжет и восхитительные пейзажи! Если хотите приятно провести время - вам сюда. Сериал оставляет ощущение спокойствия, умиротворения и радости. Дает надежду на светлое будущее. Спасибо сценаристам за такую красоту! Есть на ютубе в озвучке- русском переводе. Кстати название на китайском отображает реальную суть сериала- встреча с собой. На русском - название решили дать завуалировано «Плыть по течению ветра». То есть, иногда, чтобы найти себя, нужно отпустить ситуацию и бросить все на самотек!

i want to say thank you for making this video. after watching this, I started to watch the drama. And it made laugh and cry and just inspired by the story. everything was soooooo organic in this drama. the plot, the actors, the dialogues, it was pure 🤌🤌🤌 i think i finished watching the 40 episodes in just three days. it was that good. it was at the right pace, nothing was rushed that it made me want to keep on watching it. every character was so relatable esp for me since I also came from a small town, moved to the city and now back to the province. i love how it will make you ponder, all their conversations. the plot was so on point. i loved how they portrayed the ML not to have it all together though he was literally a knight on a white horse hahahahaha 😅 the FL was what first made me really watch this since I have been a fan of Liu Yifie for years. I think this is one of my fave and comfort cdrama now. please watch Meet Yourself. after watching this, I had a very deep gratitude of the life I am living now. and coincidently I have been planning to open a small homestay or a Bend and breakfast here in our town, in my homestead. it was so timely. I loved the concept of the story. please watch it. unhurriedly. let the story sink in.

This drama felt like: first episode completely destroyed me and tore my soul to pieces and the other 39 episodes put those pieces slowly back together. Nevertheless, this was the BEST CDRAMA I have ever watched.

Wow. I might have to check this out. I love my cheesy dramas, fantasy dramas, etc…but something about this draws me to it. And can I say that it’s nice to see the actors looking “normal.” No skin smoothing. Wrinkles. Tanned. A little bit of extra weight on the face. Makes the story more believable. After all, they’re not playing fairies here. 😅
