Brooo, new sponsor's gear is sickkk! That's you starting to be recognised, soon you'll be famous ;) Good start to the season!

Yeh really impressed with the quality of this gear. The shell series is really top notch and the company have just opened up a brand new shop which looks so fancy. Got some new gear in the way too 😊

Honestly in my opinion that is such a better drive then driving toll roads there. Just because you get the views and all the cool stops on the way!!
@JapanSnowPhotographer
@JapanSnowPhotographer 6 месяцев назад
Oh it’s way better. When I got the time I never drive toll roads. Toll roads here are generally covered on the sides so don’t get much view. This drive would have been better over 5 days to a week to take it easy and enjoy, I just had to rush towards the end as had a customer shoot booked. But yeh definitely lots of great spots to stop off at. Way back down will cruise 🤙

I balled out on the insta360 x3 and gopro11 I'm new to snowboarding (as in ive got me 2nd trip planned in march) but, I've wakeboarded and wakesurfed heavily behind a boat. Hoping to capture some cool stuff of my friends. Tell the guys domo for the vibes.

Ryan, do you recon you could find the website for the ice breaker products that Tomos used? Would be good to get some ideas to make my own.

www.aizu-rv.co.jp/aizufr/haab this is the company. Japan based. I definitely want one too as get so much snow inside the van when open back door. ooh will be interesting to see what ideas you have.

@JapanSnowPhotographer
@JapanSnowPhotographer 6 месяцев назад
cheers man. took me a while to get it but i finally figured it out. need to set it little bit loose first as when you lock it down it tightens. this way its easy to get in and out. as far as riding yeh they great. lets see how they go in deep snow with entry
@Yaas90
@Yaas90 6 месяцев назад
@@JapanSnowPhotographer Ah that’s why it took a few tries for you to get in them in this video. Thank you, it’s definitely on my radar and I can my imagine how convenient they are once you get used to them.

@@Yaas90 yeh i was surprised because so many great reviews. but then once i figured out you need to set loose they are so good! its wierd to set loose but it all makes sense once it compress down. I will try and get some better shots and use of them for next uploads. i love that i can skate and then just stomp in. also i should have mentioned that when you skate you need to put the back part in otherwise you will trip up

Hey Ryan. Awesome video. I reckon it would be awesome to do a 360 swap mid run with the other rider. Could be interesting. Where are you skiing at the moment. I’m up in appi and heading towards Aomori to do hakkoda and all the small resorts nearby. Head back down to around nagano and mid Japan in a few weeks.
@JapanSnowPhotographer
@JapanSnowPhotographer 5 месяцев назад
Haha exactly my thought! Will have to do that in the next video. Tomorrow I got a shoot to do and will try and get some behind the scenes footage using the insta 360 mount i have made. It’s going to be interesting. I’m currently in Nozawa and then have some shoots in Hakuba, Madarao and Myoko this month.

Looks like a bit of snow is hitting down there. Can’t wait to see your progression with the 360. They are so good if you are an armature like me and you want to quickly edit footage in your phone and then save it. I normally do it while having a beer after skiing.

@@JapanSnowPhotographer Here it is again: It looks like the season is off to a good start. I like that jacket. Are mandatory helmets on certain runs normal at Jap. areas. The moving walkway was too cool. I see you're snowboarding, are you going to emphasize riding this season. Having done ski trips in my van, I found the solution for nightly pee calls is large container, at least 1 gallon, so it can be tipped on it's side and still have plenty of volume. This way it can be pulled inside a sleeping bag so u stay cozy warm. Just a suggestion, cheers
