What a once in a lifetime experience this was! I am so incredibly grateful and out of words for meeting the 14th Dalai Lama and seeking his blessings. I was truly speechless, no words came out of my mouth when I had to stand there for a few seconds while he looked at me, smiled, and even said, "Thank you" whilst blessing me and my dorje necklace. I have been so humbled that we were among the first people to meet him in all the lines, they called us, "Tabo La" as a form of respect; this was because of the projects we did in the Tabo village of Spiti Valley. Now, interestingly his holiness is quite fond of Tabo village, and rumours say that he plans to spend his retirement there!
I have tried to take the vlog of the temple too, but that day was especially hard on all of us, and I could not film as I intended to; so that is all I have got from the temple. Stay tuned for the next vlog, for the adventures we did in Galu village and trekking!
