that armor is from DLC, originally in ME2 Shepard only had N7 armor.

The paragon interrupt starts when he speculates that your hired guns so I assume it’s meant to be easing his concerns before he jumps to conclusions.

Cerberus Ajax with Recon Hood, got them available from Expanded Shepard Armory (ME2LE) mod.

recon hood is normal game and Cerberus ajax armor tend to be dlc content. The ajax has its own helmet, so the mod is combining them

Yes, Mordin is one of my favourites. I very much dislike Garrus, Tali, Liara, Wrex aka most popular squadmates.

He's been indicted on crimes against the races of the citadel. Could you help us find him?" etc.

I didn't say they were looking for him, he just asked if Mordin was Mordin. At the same time, Mordin'a monolouge was him trying to ALSO figure out why he was looking for him.
