I’m saddened that you didn’t adopt a shelter dog as so many are homeless. However, I can understand wanting to have a guarantee of a gentle family dog/pet. No previous abuse or neglect that can affect a dog’s personality. Can never be too careful with children. Luso is beautiful and looks like a great fit for you Souzas! How bittersweet, but ultimately special that Ludo (best name!!) was born on the same day that Kenji left. Our nephew was born the day our son died. He had so many of our son's unique little characteristics that we swear our boy left a little of himself with someone he knew we'd love. It feels like Kenji has done the same kind of thing. And he's the most adorable fluffy ever.
This breed is beautiful, loves to play, super calm with people, they love play, but be prepared for 1 or 2 years of destruction, they love to destroy, slippers, remote controls, glasses and anything you leave lying around the house, they also love Playing in water and mud so be prepared for that because as they have long fur you can imagine how things will turn out.
I have tears in my eyes seeing how happy everyone is with the new puppy. He is just what you needed to fill that whole you have felt. I've been through it more times than I can't remember. Sp spoil Ludo and he's going to be in the best family ever!❤
We lost our Tuggy boy 3 days ago.. He was a Blessing and a great joy! 15 yrs old..Our Pinni girl misses him dearly as we do.. The puppy is a wonderful addition to your family.. You all will have a great life together!

We lost our girl on April 13th. She was a 15 year old American Golden, and my God she is missed. We knew a breeder that had English Goldens (White) and we reached out. Long story short, we received our new baby, Rachel, on Saturday. Finally that hole my family had is filled again. I'm so happy for you guys. We've had goldens for 20 years and I'll never go elsewhere. The breed is intelligent but goofy, gentle, and super affectionate. Again, so happy for you guys. Enjoy the life out of that little guy! BUT AT NIGHT SHE WOULD CRY SO MY DAD PUT A ALARM CLOCK ON HER BED AND HER TOYS DAD SAYS IT WILL SOUND LIKE HER MOMS HEART BEAT..AT TIMES IT WORKED BUT SHE WANTED MY TOUCH SO I BROUGHT HER UP STAIRS TO MY BED AND EVER SENCE SHE WOULD SLEEP WITH ME ,,. LEAVING FOR THE ARMY MILITARY IN THE LATE 70S- 80S SHE MISSED ME SHE WAS GETTING OLDER AND LIVED TILL 15 YR.S OLD AND BEING 65 YR.S OLD TODAY THIS VIDEO REMINDS ME OF WHEN I GOT MY PUPPY AT THE GAS STATION WITH MY DAD,,.. Ludo is adorable. Its been a few weeks but our "chug" Kallie has crossed the Rainbow bridge. We adopted Kallie from a local county shelter. She was around three when we got her and she was part of the family for 10yrs. Its been twice now we made vet visits and ended up coming home with one less family member. She was momma's girl and had so many nicknames like "Budda Belly", Kal-Kal, Sweet Pea, etc. We are in the "thinking" process on what to do next. We may adopt again or we may foster for a bit until we feel its time to adopt again.
I know you'll probably get a ton of suggestions but please get your new puppy chipped. It's not expensive and it doesn't hurt. He's so adorable. Good luck.
@@Stacyr4567 I completely agree with you. With all the dogs in shelters and purebred rescues, they could have had a wonderful puppy or young dog instead of a "designer" dog.
@@cherylmillard2067 What I love about America it still has a semblence of freedom of choice and speech. We all could learn to be less critical in our speech and be happy for hurting hearts and baby puppies, no matter where the puppies come from. Kindness goes a long way.

We had a German Shepherd/Husky mix who knew the difference between cows & horses! We'd go past both in the car. Say, "Big Dogs, 'Bo (Lobo)! Cows...nothing -- Horses...all heck broke lose! Good times! She gave us 7 glorious pups (neutered asap) in her 15 years. Was a big factor in my recovery from a bum pancreas. ❤😂 Love the name of the little guy! Hope you have lots of fun with him. God bless! 😊
Puppies are babies, play crash eat sleep repeat. Pee and poo upon waking or when sniffing around. Pee pad by door if wakes at night. Have fun! Soooo cute!
