The president and his wife are living saints. President Carter can no longer walk, so he is no longer able to build houses for people, but he and Rosalynn were building houses up to the point when Carter had to stop because of a bad fall. He`s in a wheelchair now, but he is still mentally sharp and alert. God bless both Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter. They are my favorite first couple of all time.
They are amazing people. I hadn’t heard he’s in a wheelchair now but he’s had a very long and healthy life and helped so many people over his lifetime!
@@FreyzelProductions I agree.. He and Rosalynn are womderful people. He had a bad fall in late 2019 where he broke his hip. He has never recovered from that, so he`s in a wheelchair. But he was literally building houses up to the point when he had the injury. He did one tv interview last year, and president Biden and the first lady visited him and Rosalynn in Plains in 2021. There are pictures of the four of them together in president Carters living room. President Carter had to skip president Biden`s inauguration, so Biden came to see him in Plains. I`m glad you had the chance to meet him, and that he and Rosalynn were so nice and humble to you. It is to sweet that he took the time to write you a little card, and thank you for coming to see him... That is so impressive, but i`m not surprised. I`ve heard so many good things about both President Carter and First Lady Rosalynn. They are both very impressive people. One of a kind.
What a warm couple. I'm so glad that they can still enjoy each other at this advanced stage of their lives and that they contribute to the benefit of their local community. Thank you for your report, it was nice to learn of this.
A great story doesn't need video. He was and still is a good 'ol boy from GA. He's done a lot with Habitat for Humanity. I'm glad you had a great experience.
I love the place you stayed. So full of southern charm and history. What wonderful pics you have to remember your visit. I believe the Carters are really good folks. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I truly enjoyed watching this. Hope you have a great weekend! God bless!
You were so fortunate to get to spend time with the Cater's before they both went into hospice care! As a former hospice nurse, I urge you to send a personal note of consolence to President Carter on the loss of his precious wife Rosslyn. He would deeply appreciate hearing from you! I enjoyed hearing about your time in Plains, GA visiting The Carter's. I'm happy you got to spend such a special time with a former President and First Lady! I'm sure the Carter's meant every word they said to you! ❤ You're not the first person to express how gracious they both are/were. I'm afraid it won't be long before we lose our 39th President. Your words of kindness would probably mean so much to him! ❤😊❤
Sadly I believe you’re right. I actually did send a note but I kind of doubt he saw it or felt up to reading any of that type of stuff. I’m definitely grateful for that time 😁
Met a few of them myself. Dom and Burt used to go ro a restaurant in Florida known as Saddlebrook. Now at that time i was young, but i have a brother that worked there and got several autographs. My brother passed way to young, 2013, i have the autographs from then. I have double with Dom from my brother meeting him and myself as i was a trucker that delivered some stuff to him. Generous and comedic god. R.I.P.
@@FreyzelProductions I'm a new subber to your channel as well. I love cemeteries. As my wife and I have a Paranormal team in Michigan, when we go to different cemeteries, we also document and report any damage that's done to the cemetery by Vandals.
