@@danielcruz2354 today we will be making a typical ukrainien meal, bread take that bread and sauce it in vodka, not to much or it will be come soggy comrade, then take egg and put on bread cook for 10 minutes and boom, you have yourself a meal, this is one you can take into combat comrade.
It would be cool if there was a Time Paradox II achievement, where you could kill the younger Zakhaev to stop some of the events in Modern Warfare's Verdansk from happening.
@@howdoichangemyusername9802 sadly, Activison confirmed the original trilogy of modern warfare games are no way connected with MW2019 and Cold War. It would be cool
2 major cod villain's from 2 different timelines sitting next to each other in the same room is an amazing sight. really liking these new reboots and how they connect.
It's kinda sucks tbh Edit: I mean,i like the game but what i dont like is the connection of the game between MW(2019) and Black ops I mean if it's a crossover like Easter egg or they are not RELEVANT to black ops universe then I am fine but if they are main antagonist then It sucks tbh.
I get the feeling it's just a character with the same name type thing. Black ops and modern warfare universes don't really mesh well. Considering black ops 2 and 3 are a thing and modern warfare takes place in 2019
Me first time on this mission: Hey that guy has the same name as Zhakaev. Also looks like him too. Gorbachev: This is Zhakaev, Imran Zakhaev. Me: *mind blown*
I hope not. Makes thins more complicated than it needs to be. BO has always focused on the more crazy side while MW, while crazy in it own way is more cough ‘grounded’
@@howdoichangemyusername9802 To be fair this is set in 1981 while MW is set in 2019-2020. So linking the two doesn't mess with anything. Black Ops 2, 3, and 4 are set at later points and would uproot alot. As far as I see it the two games are linked in the same way the Terminator franchise is linked. One timeline that at some point becomes two or more. I don't mind it but at the same time, this is going to be a nightmare to work out.
4:03 That’s why Imran created the RUNRP and became a communist terrorist: he was without the bodyguards in that elevator and couldn’t eliminate the spies by oneself. He’s like me in multiplayer of COD: MW: helpless and defenseless
@Jack McLean ultranationalist is a difficult word and I can’t explain it. Read about it on Wikipedia. Zakhaev is a communist because he wanted to regain the Soviet power. He respected the Soviet Union. If you don’t believe me just remember that ultranationalists were wearing Soviet style jackets and famous golden belts with hammer and sickle buckle
@@Maximka45 The whole “Ultranationalists wanting to return the Soviet Union” is just complete bullshit.Communism,Marxism,Internationalism and many other left-wing ideologies are anti-nationalist and more leaning towards global cooperation and inter-ethnical harmony, whereas the Nationalists(unless we talk about left-wing nationalists, who are moderate in views) are more familiar with right ideals, such as putting their homeland ethnicity above other peoples, including ensuring privileges to those who share the same national identity.I feel like Infinity Ward has no real grasp of understanding the principles of Political ideologies. The sole exceptions being communism, democracy, capitalism, authoritarianism and extremism.
@@levvy3006 A shame politics are not taught at schools tho.I would have attended them voluntarily and with full commitment.Would have also helped the youth to understand their governments better.
@@levvy3006 I’m not 14. I don’t see difference between Soviet socialism and Zakhaev’s ultranationalism because both bear death and the ideology is same. Zakhaev wanted to regain Soviet power and socialism in Russia and he made it. Zakhaev is like Lenin but Lenin was smart one and didn’t behave like a real terrorist, unlike Zakhaev. In his time the country was in bad condition because of WW1 when in 2011 Russia was ok. Zakhaev’s power grab attempt is considered as terrorism because his men were killing innocent people and capturing whole territories, he was illegal arms dealer and he supported Al-Asad in the Middle East. But you’re right: communism and ultranationalism are different things but I really don’t see any difference between Soviet socialism and Zakhaev’s ultranationalism
I love this game so much, the fact that they added Imran Zakhaev and tied him to the events of Black Ops and later on given spotlight to Modern Warfare 1in his old age really ties the history together.
Yea but the problem is that they were in seperate universe's so this just causes confusion are the timelines now singular? Then what remains canon the original or the reboot? What about the other call of duties will they be tied in also?
@@tupimpacaterpillar8420 I like to think this created a new timeline that started from BO1.. where in the original it went through BO2 (and is still separated from MW series), this time it connects almost directly into the new MW. Whether they will retcon the old games or not remains to be seen, *IF* they decide to make a continuation from it.
@@DzakyAmany I think this is lazy writing on their part. There are people who love Black Ops and people who love MW. Obviously there are few who love both. This is a ploy to bridge that gap for two different sets of fans to come together right? No. This is how you make more money by using both sets of sub franchises to lure each other to buy both games. It’s just a business thing. A smart one but it just shows that Call of Duty is getting more desperate and lazy.
@@thefacelessgamer2297 Ehh i don't mind seeing BO and MW series conjunct together this way, i mean we still have both original series that is already separated from each other, so making a new one that ties both together while leaving the originals untouched is cool IMO. MW series was perfect to be left alone after MW3, while BO pretty much ends at BO3 which was kinda forgettable. CoD was at their most desperate and lazy the moment they decided to remaster MW and MW2 for quick cash, or making BO4 a battle royal mess.
Are these the only appearances of Zakhaev in The Cold War? Also, I really liked how they mirrored JFKs speech with Comrade Gorbachev's speech too about their way of life
He shows up in an elevator later in the mission where he gets suspicious of you. If you answer his questions correctly it gives you a calling card but there is also an option to knock him out
@@moddedkaine1427 You're referencing the mission that's shown in the video by the way. OP was asking if the elevator mission and when you see him in the war room are the only two times you see him. Which to answer the question nearly a week late, yes.
It makes sense how the universes are now mixing together tho the real reason is obviously because of Warzone being the divider necessary for these characters to casually mix or mentioned in the campaign. Just shows Treyarch and Infinity Ward being on the same level which I think for both fans of MW or Black Ops can collectively be happy about
Hol up pal, let me tell you something real quick. The "ending" really only depends on the last choice you make and the other choices you have make for the smallest of changes unlike the vast amount of stuff that could happen such as Raul in jail or Woods dying
@@colemacgrath8846 so what your telling us, is that, the choices aren't as drastic as the choices in bo2, like they're not as effective or story changing?
@@victortellez6138 they do have different levels for the ending but one could be beat in 2 minutes and the other one 7-10. Really the last choice you make affects the outcome of the story.
@@g3tshotheett it not a sequel to Bo2 it a sequel to the original Black Ops, meaning that the Future timeline of Bo2 means it an alternative future since Warzone basically connects both Black Ops and Modern Warfare 2019 universe
No its not a soft reboot cold war takes place between black ops 1 and 2 they confirmed it them self's its not a reboot its a prequel it is said there linking the story lines together and since cold war dosnt really change anything in future they can technically do what ever they want for example the bad ending where wood and Mason die that's not Canon so him bejngg there can also not bee Canon or he could be some on else who has the same name or there linking story's but trust me it's not a reboot it's a prequel
But I don't want anything related to the futuristic setting of bo or infinite warfare and publishers and devlopers know that very well so they gotta cancel the events bo2,bo3,bo4, but not charecters of bo2
@@levvy3006 I agree 100%.The developers should have hired a *native from Chechnya that has knowledge of Russian,English and his home Chechen* .Would have been actually interesting to see Zakhayev speak his mother language.
It's cool that Cold war is the past leading into MW 19. Especially because, Inram hasn't died yet so maybe there's clues and teases here to what he may in MW2
So the universes are finally intertwining This is great news actually, very interested to see how it goes outside of warzone after cold war’s year is done
It’s also very weird in terms of how the different terms have their own spin on the franchises World at War felt like it felt into the Black ops universe when Black ops 1 came out as both are extremely dark and the only cod games to feature gore while Modern Warfare generally felt different and lacked a graphic experience compared to Black ops/WAW. With MW 2019 I could see it taking place in the WAW/Black ops universe
This might just be the black ops universes zakhaev, or if this gets tied in with modern warfare 2019 it might make sense, because MW 2019 isn't in the same universe as the original trilogy.
@@Adrian-xm1koI doubt they’re directly connected. More like a the characters exist but not the games story. As in there was a price in the BO universe, but the events of MW(2019) or COD4 never happened.
Finally someone who gets it. However it is not clear if Zakhaev is still alive in MW2019. Both Laswell and Price think that he’s dead and now his son Viktor wants to replace Barkov. Perhaps Imran will show up in future games, but until then he is listed as Deceased.
I think that because this game was originally made by sledgehammer and was separate from black ops series they added him in to connect more with modern warfare which actually makes sense but activision did not like a Cold War game without black ops so they gave it to treyarch who then only had on year with the game. It be like how waw was connected to the cod bo1 and 2
This is very much the script from BO1 they had for Kennedy in the Pentagon mission. Would have been cool if you could frame Zakhaev in that meeting for a time paradox trophy.
Probably an alternate dimension from the original Black ops games, but the Cod games exist in the same universes. New Dimension : Cold War, ModernWarfare 2019 Black Ops : 1,2,3,4 Modern warfare original :1,2,3
I'm pretty this means that the Black Ops universe is connected to Modern Warfare 2019's universe, no necessarily the original Modern Warfare trilogy's universe.
We get one call of duty where we are traveling through time and we end up averages style where makarov, zakeav, kravchenko, Shepard, waw enemies spetznaz and Shepard’s team vs soap, price, sgt roebuck, ghost, gaz, woods, mason, reznov with task force 141 the waw allies
I mean y'all remember the ending of zombies in BO4. Wouldn't surprise me that it's the cause of the new timeline to connect both separate franchises into one.
