It's like there's lesser othering, where you think of someone as other and lesser, and there's greater othering, aka hero worship, where you think of someone as other and greater. It's like that God fallacy where people say God exists because there's every likelihood of phenomena that's beyond comprehension. Like, no, dog, I swear, that mentality is a recipe for stunted intellectual growth.
