We supposed to be Sikh in Sikhi there is no difference between male and female but unfortunately there are people and families that call them selves SiKh but go against the very basics of GURU NANAK DEVE JI’S TEACHINGS but girls shouldn’t be putting them selves in situations where they can be judged by someone’s parents and the parents cans judge the girl if the are letting there son date because there is no dating in Sikhi and if there is trouble for families trying to get ther suns and daughters married it’s because no real sikh wants to get there child married to a house that goes so far away from GURU JI’S teachings
Girls working is fine, but someone has to look after the house and children as well, a girl doesn't have to get stuck to these things only, boy's first priority should be to earn and a girl's first priority should be to look after these things, and then they can improvise and do both.
or make your first priority to be whatever you want it to be. men shouldn't always be expected to earn for a woman and women shouldn't be expected to cook and clean for a man. you learn and do all those things by yourself bc you're a grown adult and then when you get with someone, you can both work together.
