This is my first time every playing Crisis Core! I know a little bit about this game like Aerith is in it and it takes place 5 years before FFVII. Other than that I know nothing and am ready for an emotional roller coaster!

I graduated high school the year this game came out...what a classic playing on my PSP. Zack is one of the best FF characters

Angeal only using the Buster Sword when he's protecting something important makes sense, because as he said, he grew up poor. If he can accomplish his work with a lesser weapon, then why not?

As far as the controls go, I usually switched Dodge over to circle, and switched items to cross. It's a weird control scheme all together anyway, but at least this way you won't then get your controls mixed up when switching to another game as much

To be honest I kinda like Zack more than Cloud. Unlike him Zack is a true hero in heart and soul. Though back then here he had no idea what SOLDIER truly was, they were expendable pawns to be used by Shinra and then left to rot in the gutter eventually.

"i like old games, they have this thing, i dont know how to describe it" its the fact that it has mechanics that are video gamey. Rather than the same cookie cutter stuff other games do over and over, older games just put random mechanics in for the hell of it. It had a bit more of an authentic feel. There are still good games with that feel, but not many these days
