So, there was a "range only" challenge. How about a Flying-only challenge (no castle, no necro)? Also, a Cove only challenge (with no other starting towns)?

I switched from HMM2 to HMM3 when it first came out in 1999 and have been playing ever since. I never got involved in any online content about the game until just recently when I found the HD mod and this channel. It's been fun watching a completely different style of play, and I've learned some things, Since I know the game so well, I can sort of participate in the videos, and I saw your "cheat" in the "No Magic video" and was yelling at the screen "resurrect one of those dragon flies first!." You are hugely better at combat than I am. Let me offer you a challenge that I completed. In a XL random map, assemble ALL the compound artifacts: Cloak of the Undead King, Angelic, Alliance, Admiral's Hat, Cornucopia, Power of the Dragon Father, Armor of the Damned, Bow of the Sharpshooter, Elixir of Life, Ring of Magi, Statue of Legion, Titan's Thunder and the Wizard's Well.
Idea: Solmyr, but you don't use magic. At all. Yeah, the hero who is famous for one of the most DEVASTATING DAMAGE SPELLS IN THE GAME? bonus points if you can grab a stronghold early game and build off that
The first thing I thought when this was recommended was like "Wait, this is TKW? It's under three minutes, and there's a battle" Jokes on you though, I really enjoy the Cantina theme so I've just got that on in the background. And it helps with the hype buildup for an actual campaign playthrough (even if it's you getting ridiculous stats in the first scenario before cheesing the rest)

Have you ever tried a map called Montreal Isle? :D Very cool, but also the lord of the rings maps is pritty nice. Highly recommand both for a playthrough :D
Hey MeKick I wonder if one of your next sinister six challenge will include an melee and ground only challange, with no magic too, so you use only hand-to-hand attacks and no flyers. I know you did an only speed 3 challange, so you used only ground an melee but you still used magic so I m not counting it. Alos, if you will do the challange, try not to by magic heroes.
Subscribed, started watching your videos but when I play, I cant seem to get over my one hero army. What do i do when i take another town, or 2 towns ? Do I make a small army with the units from the new town and clear near it ? My biggest problem is when I have multiple towns and the ai starts attacking on different fronts. Basicly, I can't multi task.
Thanks! Ideally, if you have extra Gold available, then you can use that to buy a side army from a captured town and clear the nearby area with a secondary hero. You're going to want to scout around the town with at least 2-3 heroes if possible so that you can gain vision of the surrounding area and not be caught off-guard by enemy heroes. When the AI inevitably shows up to capture (or recapture) the town, your secondary army (with a reasonably strong side hero) might stand a chance of defending a town without you needing to bring your main army back. This way, you don't lose tempo while pushing with your primary hero. It also helps to have a Castle with a Moat and Arrow Towers during a siege so that you can prevent enemy ground units from reaching you right away, of course. In the later stages of the game, you may want to search for Town Portal (whether it be by building up Mage Guilds or searching for artifacts that can provide it) so that your main hero can defend your towns more easily. I hope this helps!

Do you still read the comment for challenges to do? If so, what about doing a you can only move your characters on odd or even days, odds would be a little bit easier because you can move on day 1 and there are 4 days instead of 3. I think that its no like anything you've done before but maybe I'm wrong
hey, sooo im here watching you playing on expert & doing weird challenges with that tactic .. in every game you choose one or two maybe three creatures and all of the others are "1" and its somehow working for you.. i played this game when i was a child and for me its nostalgia haha .. can you give me some not so basic tips and trick on how to get better ? i'm not a noob i loved this game for sooo long and then..then i stopped playig for like 7 years.. till last week when i randomly saw it on 9gag x) i would appreciate your comment ! hehe.. gotta wash my hands now ive been in public
Hey man, I've been watching your vids recently and I installed the HD mod along with a Heroes 3 complete (the GoG version which includes Armageddon's and SOD). However, there are some key difference between my game and yours. Most notably, my game doesn't show the approximate number of creatures when I right click a neutral creature. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Or is it an option that I have to activate somewhere? Edit: I also noticed that, in combat, when I hover over enemy creatures, it doesn't show their movement range like in your games. Any ideas?
Can you do more montages? I love your videos and HoMM3, but I honestly can't spare the time to watch the entire stream. If you would do more montages with length around 10 minutes, I think your channel would blow up.
