It's impossible to release a remix of an extremely popular track and not have it be polarizing. I love what you guys have done here, especially because it is different enough from the original to feel like a fresh new track (which Sientelo really needed from an official remix). First drop is heavy and a complete departure from the vibe of the original. The chord changes from the main melody starting at 1:29 are so much more pleasing than the original imo. Then the half time drop at 1:50 is just absolutely nuts (my favourite moment). The final drop feels like what I might have expected from you guys as the main drop for the entire track and I'm so glad the track as a whole is so much more. I think what the original does so well is it's sound design and composition but I feel like it's lacking in variety and structure. I think you guys nailed those latter aspects and I know I'm gonna be playing this over the speakers for some time to come

That’s kinda SOTA’s style though (can’t speak for Circadian since I haven’t heard enough). It’s unique and takes a moment to appreciate, more noisy, less melodic, and definitely a bit more abstract than your typical Amen-break-based of the genre. I can get how it doesn’t tickle some people’s fancies - but hey, what fun would life be without some variety? 😊

A case of just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Some tracks require delicate precision and specific blueprints in the remixes, this is one of them.. Too far from the original and lost a lot of identity because of it, take away the vocals this is a completely different tune. 2/10 at best.
