"Like a version" is now on Spotify and Apple music (plus RU-vid) there are a 145 listings on spotify for instance. Drum pads start at about 500 and go to around $1500 (Aust) its basically a pressure sensitive set of triggers for a library of sounds that no doubt can be further shaped to taste. (not a drummer) Tripple J have some world class in house music production people, and just have a knack for creating situations for magic to happen.

Also so you know, Triple J’s “Like A Version” is a radio segment where artists come in and do covers of other peoples songs. Most will take a song and make it their own for eg this is a Broods song but Meg made it her own if you knew the original vs what she did - which is what’s so cool about it ☺️

I'm not musical, and when you pause and sing a section yourself, and sing with the artist, and pause and replay a few times in a row, it really helps me to understand what the singer is doing. I get to hear things I would never notice on my own.

100% agreed about knowing she'd be one of my faves as soon as I heard her. To me, she has a similar sound to Adele but not as polished, so she has a bit more grit.
