VUDU Ultimate Stage 1 POLO GTI absolutely Smashes the 250BHP quoted figures!!
Owen brought his lovely Polo GTI 1.8TSI into the VUDU Garage for our ultimate stage 1 package. (Quoted at 250BHP)
After running initial tests to check the vehicles stock data ensuring the car was a safe benchmark before installing our stage 1 software we found the car to be running slightly overstock figures ( 192WHP) and logs showed it to be fantastic.
This car had an uprated Ram Air induction kit which was certainly helping the car to breathe.
We installed the VUDU Stage 1 Software and began the retest allowing us to see the delta between stock and stage 1 :) a massive 257BHP (225WHP) a huge 35HP increase and a massive 60Ib of torque gained overstock.

Can you map a standard 1.4 polo match 61 plate if so how much would it be please and how big of a difference would it make please

Hey guys, Are you able to find out via the customer or if you remember yourselves, when you remapped this Polo GTI did it have an updated clutch in it at the time? Only reason I ask is, I'm considering getting one in the next few weeks & multiple forums, posts & tuners etc on the Internet suggest you'll need one, even for just a "Stage 1" Remap. But then again the Internet said the same thing about my S3 8P Stage 1 (manual) that I used to have and I ran that for around 18months before selling it, no issues whatsoever regarding the clutch. But I suppose they don't take into considering how you'd personally drive the car. It entirely depends on whether or not your flooring it in 1st gear everywhere and trying to do endless 0-60 attempts... Thanks.

Hello T95LD, When upgrading to Stage 1 it can be a 50/50 on whether the clutch will slip due to the increase in torque. With our VUDU Remaps we can request low torque files that will make it less likely to slip, however, if you have the money to cover an upgraded clutch we definitely recommend it as it removes any doubt and will allow you to take your Polo to Stage 3 if you so desire. @@VUDUGarage brilliant thanks for your response 👍🏻 I'll look into upgrading my clutch beforehand then... I only picked up my Polo at the weekend so I'll drive it a bit as it is & it'll give me a chance to save towards a clutch, exhaust, remap etc... Thanks for your help.
