I think this was a great 16 bit remaster of the original three games. The music is not bad either, in fact, I think it is kind of cool. Many find it to be lacking, but I do not. Very nice textures and decent animations, and it looks like it plays very well!
Nunca joguei esse Mega Man da versão mega drive, somente as versões: nes, snes, psx e ps2. A jogabilidade é igual a versão do nes, só que com gráficos um pouco melhor.
Apparently Capcom didnt know how to program properly on the Mega Drive. It's not that the system was difficult to make games for, just Capcom had mostly stuck to Snes and they tried to program this like a SNES game. Theres a video on the unreleased Street Fighter Turbo rom floating around that goes into detail. The framerate and slowdown should have never been an issue, the Genesis was known to be able to handle a massive amount of moving objects on screen, which is why its home to so many great SHUMPS. It's a shame, I love this game but a little more work on it and it could have been perfect.
@@atoaster9940 yes,the hardware in the mini definitely has far better components than an original sega genesis but the music isn't too fast or too slow like the original cart so they obviously tweaked the games as well.
I'm playing through a repro of this on actual hardware. Theres a bit of stiffness to megamans movement, and being so used to how megaman is supposed to move makes this take some getting used to. Also, theres noticable lag (especially on actual hardware) and some minor changes, like messing up the magnet missile. Still, it's a great but flawed game.
Kathryn Childress don’t worry, I speak his language **ahem, ahem** BUMO! Bumobumobumao. Bumobumo! BUMO! (Mega Man: Powered Up reference in case you didn’t know)
I dunno if it's just me, but this version of Mega Man 2 seems a tad slower than the original. I mean the Mega Man 1 version included in this compilation seems to be okay but Mega Man 2 and 3 are apparently a bit slower in terms of pacing/gameplay.

Worst thing about this game is you can’t perform the “zips” that are staple in speedrunning MM2. I tried for a while at each zip location w items 1 & 3 but doesn’t allow it.
You should have used Heat Man's weapon against Wood Man. One shot at maximum charge would have been enough. Against Metal Man, Metal Blade is a one-hit kill.
Can’t believe the soundtrack on mega drive is more weak than NES soundtrack here on this games of mega man wily wars sounds awful definitely graphics are much better obvious but the game runs to slow ..... 😒. 1000000000 % Better on NES
Actually it's a common misconception that this game runs slow. Most people playing an English version are playing the PAL version which runs at 50 Hertz not 60. The US and Japanese versions run at full speed, although the game does suffer from massive slowdown.
