Good one as she got thousands of eggs and only about 50 to hundred survive mature age. The bigger the more tuff they are . Always like that point to fish as used to smash big winter bream , Jew and a lot of flatty. Old fisho local used to always fish for blackfish there for years , he would gasoline twenty meters of line , fish a float and a running knot over the line for his depth , he would have two hooks or doves they are called with weed from parramatta , he would have a bucket of filtered sand 2/3 of weed to his sand for burley. So you know the walk in , with 15 kg of sand and gear is hard , but he was old and keen of spot there only arvo during the week as for not many boaties around then. He was a master of blackfish at that very spot. He would walk out with a kero lamp. Learnt a lot of him . If lucky he would flick a nice blackfish to take home. Keep clean spot I always use to walk out with a suger bag of rubbish p,s strip the insulation of copper wire , weave the insulation on about 30 mm on your line then tie on fisho knot for hook , now there got braided line , and metal trace , yep good place to slip on your arse. Rock hopper shoes are the go , but not good to walk inn.
