I agree. I'm only just watching this video now even though YT has been recommending this to me foreverrrrr. :) New subscriber. I appreciate Mel's grace in all of this. I definitely would have been made to feel upset over upsetting that person but then I would have also been angry for being upset over such a small matter. I sell on eBay so of course I would be very annoyed by authenticity questions. If I can, I try to ask fellow eBayers if I can use their photos (usually this is after their own listings have ended so as not to hurt their sales opportunity). But, honestly, I would have just taken a new photograph if it's just one photo that's causing all the problem. The time and energy this woman exerted into such a relatively small matter was a huge waste of her own time. Sounds like the type of person who likes to get angry and stay angry, or have the final word on a situation. C'est la vie! Things happen. We can't control other people. Good message for us to take the high road when others cannot.

I know, so dramatic lol, I once had to talk to someone who had been taking pictures from my account (several times) and I never called her out in any way, I simply wrote to her and gave her a few days to respond. She responded a few days later but then went on to post like 3 other images of mine without giving me credit and never gave me credit for the other ones (and I noticed she was doing the same to others) so I simply blocked her. No drama, no calling her out, no insulting her, no reporting her, just blocked her cause honestly there's already so much drama in this world and I don't need any part of it
Hi Angela, the same has happened to me countless times. Photos/videos getting reposted with no credit. I too have asked them nicely (if I do know about it) and sometimes they just block me! What is worse is when they use my images to sell counterfeit products. I think you handled your situation perfectly xo

My last semester of my bachelor degree I went through a rough time with dealing with a sick family member who unfortunately passed away, I took it particularly hard because it was the first death in my family I had experienced, so I can understand how hard it is to juggle your personal/work/study/social life. Also, this video just shows what an amazing person you are, I really admire your integrity. You didn’t have to be transparent about the situation, you didn’t have to give us such an in depth explanation (you didn’t even have to tell us anything at all!). Hi Mel, a very unfortunate situation, but as always you have used this situation to demonstrate how we might respond with grace, even when we might not be feeling so happy about the occurance. This is one of the reasons I love you’re videos, and getting to know you better over time. I just love the video you did with lvlovercc, Charis has the same beautiful spirit that you show to the world, and that is so refreshing, in a medium such as you tube and instagram when we’ve recently been witness to anything but acting with grace. Ok. So to answer your question, I live in Ontario Canada, quite close to Toronto. I moved here in my 20’s, so over 30 years ago. I was born and raised on the East Coast of Canada in a very tiny farming community with a population of 300 people. My grandparents did not have running water. I came to Ontario when I was just 14, on my own. I’ve worked very hard to achieve what I wanted which was some level of financial freedom. I grew up watching how struggling to make ends meet really tore my parents and grandparents down, bit by bit. My goal was to be able to buy my Mom her own home, I haven’t been able to do that but I am able to help her more comfortable in life. My favourite bag is my Louis Vuitton neverfull , I have DE, but I want it in mono, and Azur. I have a funny story on how I came to love Louis Vuitton, living in a very tiny farming community, but I’ll save it for another time. I seem to get a lot of hate when I leave long comments. It’s funny what seems to upset people, but, long comments seems to be one of them. Prayers are with you and your family with trust that our Lord will have his arms around you all and help you through this difficult time. I truly cherish your videos, I don’t comment that often, I guess it’s because I seem to attract trolls often.
