If anyone wants to check out Mega Maker then hit this shit up mega-maker.com/index.html Also if you haven't caught any of my recent videos then here ya go ru-vid.com/group/PL6MMpmIT11-KvIi4434Vm6dEH4oPORE7P
There's a dude named RushJet who made 8-bit arrangements of the megaman games. It'd be cool if they collaborated with him to add RushJet's remixes to the game, and gave the option to pick the original or arranged versions.
AlphaOmegaSin There is a Zelda maker called Zelda Classic. Been used and updated for years. Active community, downloadable quest, custom graphics, and controller friendly too.
Ugh. Hopefully that doesn't happen, but unfortunately the new Mega Man cartoon is marketed towards kids. If FNAF characters get into any Mega Man, I'll officially lose all respect for Capcom.
ChidoriSnake I wouldn't say that . From what they've done lately with Megaman seems like they're testing the waters from putting him in Smash , recently back in MVC, the two Legacy collections plus this movie it seems they finally understood the demand for him . Plus I kinda trust them more with the character at this point than Inafune with the cluster fuck that was Mighty Number 9
Atari is coming out with a new console, I heard that. You may want to look in it. ^_^ Would love to see that be an Atari exclusive haha. Give it a selling push ^_^
Well they didn't took it for themself and they didn't charged for it but they still kinda grabbed Street Fighter X Megaman promoted it as an aniversary game for both Megaman and Street Fighter which was kinda weird but at least they didn't DMCA the creators and took the game down so that was at least good.
They didn't grab anything, they linked it which was a really cool thing for them to support fans making something like that. So you basically just made several accusations then turned out and was like well uh uh uh yeah none of that happened but....
I played X8 after I played X6 but before I played X7. X8 I enjoyed. Beaten multiple times. X6 I loathed but I at least beat it. X7 I dropped after an hour.
Mario and Megaman are two series that has had loads of romhacks done of it Metroid as well to a somewhat lesser extent. This isn't Metroid fans being unhappy.
That early Zelda 1 concept has actually been realized years ago as another fan-game called Zelda Classic. There's a lot to it, including the ability to make custom enemies and items, and it even has some of the later items like the Hookshot and the OoT spells.
What robot masters are you looking forward to seeing again? I wanna see the Powered Up characters come back!! AAAAAND Drum Roll, Please!! *Drumroll* _Sniper Joe!!_ We've seen him as a regular enemy, but now I wanna see him as a boss!!😁😀
Some things I really want is the ability to unlock abilities in stage as pick ups, the option to make bosses not end the stage upon defeat, and text boxes. That last one could be iffy but as someone who likes stories it would help a lot. Programmable Triggers would also be cool and ways to connect events together. If you've ever used the Doom Snap Map feature then kind of like that.
Whoa now, Alpha, X8 was actually pretty good. I'm just pissed we'll never see what happened to Axl, X or Zero after that incident. Also you can't deny that the music for that game wasn't on point. Jakob will always have the best elevator music.
Hey there! I'm the guy who actually made the trailer for Mega Maker and the subsequent launch video (as noted by the description on the uploads). Really glad to hear you're enjoying the game so far! I know that Wrecking - the leader of the project, for reference - is planning on making some updates to the game, with a lot of feedback being taken into consideration. Whenever the next major update introducing new content to the game comes out, I'll probably make another trailer to go along with its launch. In those regards, I'm cool with you or anyone else using the footage for video coverage like what was done here, so long as credit is given (either to me or more preferably by pointing people to the original upload). Also, on a side-note related to something else brought up: I would be totally on-board for a Mega Man X anime done in a manner akin to the Netflix Castlevania series.
the thing is that the most voted levels are remakes of mario levels or levels of mario maker players who stream on youtube, still there is no community interface and the way the levels are played makes it so that your level gets played the first 3 minutes it's uploaded and then forgotten forever in the realms of the internet, still i made some cool levels as for what i think, not trolley and just hard enough not to breeze through them, the names are "Epic Platforming"; "Slow Motion Free Fall" and my favourite and most "creative" "Docturd Willys Turd Monster" enjoy :)
Dude, I'm friends with WreckingPrograms, the guy who made this. It's great to see you making a video on this. I helped him test out the engine back when he was starting it, before he started Mega Maker. I'm still helping find bugs, but I'm not a tester per se. It's being made in Game Maker Studio, so a few things on your wishlist might take a while, but they're good suggestions, that I also kind of want too. I'm a programmer in Game Maker, so I can kind of say I have a small idea on how to do them, except the AI modding. By the way, its nice to see you making more videos again. Game the fuck on, Alpha.
I actually got so into making a Mega Man level, that it actually caused the game to lag as I made it too huge and explorative. I wanted to make that kind of level, but unfortunately the game couldn't handle it! I still have a lot of fun with it though! It's a great maker game.
+AlphaOmegaSin There is a "Zelda Maker", the project started as that, but Nintendo DMCA'd it, so the guy rebranded it as "Legend Maker" and then "Runiya". You can get the alpha builds by supporting his patreon. It's pretty good.
There was a cancelled Megaman game where you could create your own levels and it had a different artstyle using 3D models, forgot the name of it but I guess this finally makes up for that
This video came at a great time. They sent out a couple patches today, one that made some massive optimization fixes. Mega Maker runs WAY better than it did yesterday.
Now we got Mega Maker in the works, that's something I had not expected for a while. It would be a real fucking long-shot, but imagine if you would be able to make your own Mario Kart tracks Mario Kart Maker, make yourself and your friends rage with the new absurd (but possibly beautiful) user-submitted tracks-
They should add big-ass mid-bosses! Yeah they need to add MORE robot masters and MORE enemies as well, but would it be fun to set up a mid-boss in the middle of the stage? I know for sure I will!
In an alternate reality the switch's library contains mario maker, mega maker, metroid maker, castlevania constructor, green elf forest boy workshop, and bubsy builder
yeah now that you mention the actual zombie portion like you can face them down like saying Fireman, Iceman, Cutman man and and when you face him again instead of what you've already faced before, you're facing a zombie version of those characters you defeated.
Mega Man Powered Up for the PSP had a level maker right? I can't remember if it was good or not, but I do remember having some fun sharing levels with my friend.
PLEASE let us customize the movement of the character(s) in Mega Maker! If I got it I'd wanna have the slide plus have the Charge Shot specifically from MM4 (since that is by far my favorite look of the Charge Shot from any of the classic games.) Like, let the players choose whether they should be able to use this or that ability as Mega Man in their own stages. And also being able to choose what Charge Shot you could use, while being a very minor detail would add another level of customizable detail I'd personally love to see in a Mega Man-like Mario Maker.
I keep imagining that the movie would have remixes by String Player Gamer for its score. ...Hey, there might be no way it will happen, but a man can dream.
It's like Inafune's mega man universe revived by fans. Since one of the reasons for Inafune to leave capcom was the company killing this project, I doubt they'll do their maker now.
I really hope they can develop a system that lets you tamper with Robot Master AI. I have so many ideas for pattern upgrades that can be worked into the classic bosses, especially when it comes to those initially simple ones like Guts Man or Ice Man. With the movie, I really hope they get someone like Finn Wolfhard to play Rock.
One thing I enjoyed about MegaMan and other franchises is seeing it evolve and do new things. I don't mind the series being 2D but I want to see some improvements with the visuals. It can look similar to 8-bit but actually be more and look visually stunning like Sonic mania. Another megaman game that plays different with new mechanics would be great. Honestly I would love to see a another 3D megaman or X game as X7 is one of my favorites of all time
Sweet!! Though my expectations for this Megaman movie is extremely low. When I was looking at the two new weapons, the first one reminded me of Smash Bros., and the other reminds me of the dark queen from Battletoads.
How about custom boss attack pattern where you can make your own boss attack sequence like making them jump to a high place and making them shoot projectiles from above
Just got word of this myself. I'll definitely be checking out Mega Maker when I get home. Also, X8? While not the best the X series had to offer, at least it wasn't X7. Lol.
3:53!!!!!! mind blown!!! FOX got it from megaman O___0!!!!?????? im an X series guy more than classical megamans but damm thats awesome to know. MEGAMAN is too awesome. we need X series again. how i miss walking into FUNCOLAND (before gamestop) trying out megaman X 1for the first time after playing NES megaman. and said oh wow cool as a 6 year old. my dad saw my face light up and let me test it with a store tube tv. man, NOSTALGIA!!!
Capcom wouldn't even need to do a proper announcement for Megaman Legends 3, they could show a logo with the subtitle "in production" and I'd probably throw money at it lol.
Capcom needs to buy this. Not because I want them to own it and waste it like they do everything else, but because I want the creators to get some serious cash.
If anyone hasn't played it, megaman rock force is an excellant fan game that let's you play not only as megaman but a couple robot masters that megaman has on his side. My favorite is nitro man. Maybe they can collab and have the robot masters in rock force be playable in mega maker, it'd be a start.
You know what would a massive test of skill??NINJA GAIDEN MAKER!!And you having just 1 or 2 Hawks per stage was nerd rage inducing...try an entire level designed with them only!!
Well there is Zelda Classic with level editing tools for Zelda 1 along with tools to use the updated mechanics and graphics from Link to the Past. Yes Mega Maker is freaking awesome.
I'll get even more excited when CAPCOM decides to make an official MEGA MAKER .This for now is just a fan passion project and big C may still have it killed and that'll be the end of it unless they go and do it for reals?
My concern with this Mega Maker is how it plans to rein in all those impossible levels which only someone with precognition and superhuman reflexes can actually beat that Super Mario Maker is plagued with.
For all those saying Capcom will smack out a cease and desist order, Capcom put up on there website the Mega Man vs Street Fighter fan game for Mega Man's anniversary. They are pretty alright with fan games.
With that movie and cartoon coming out in the future, Capcom better use those occasions to bring back Mega Man in it's entirety. I need my third ZX game badly after that cliffhanger. As for the movie, I think Zero series has an amazing film potential, but I doubt they'll be going with that.
