Time to relive the demo, only now we know more of the tricks this game has to offer. For example, if you have Chain Blast on hand, you can blow up the walls that try and push you into the grinder.
Block Man' is probably the only boss here with multiple phases based on his health. His first phase has him use his titular Block Dropper on you, but he only does this if you attack him. He has a case of the Fire Man/Crash Man going on. His second phase has him activate his Power Gear and turn into a giant golem. Here, he can do 3 actions. He try to slam the ground if you're close to him, so move away from him for that. If you're far away, he will try to punch you, so move closer for that. Finally, after 3 actions, he will toss up a couple of blocks, which you have to dodge under. Knock him out of this and you enter the third phase, where he will jump to one end of the screen and toss a whole bunch of blocks at you desperately. These can be destroyed as well. On Superhero he will change sides, but this is all he'll do for the rest of the fight.
And since we beat 4 of the 8 Robot Masters, we get a scene with Dr. Light, lamenting on the past and how things could've been different between him and Wily had he offered a compromise instead of outright rejecting him. We also get Rush Jet as well.
