Mega Man 2 - Quick Man theme
When playing this game as a kid I always chose the Quick Man level last mainly because of those blasted laser beams! Although it being terrifying there was at the same time something very captivating about the music of this particular level. The second half of the song is powerful and kickass-inducing like the rest of the soundtrack, but the first half have this melancholy and latin vibe which makes it stand out from the rest.
The themes of Wood Man and Dr. Wily are of course the monster hits of the Mega Man 2 soundtrack, but the Quick Man theme will always have a special place in my chest area (where my heart used to be).

Totally. A lot of covers screw up the chords and play the wrong notes, but this cover actually does everything right.

I recently bought the nes classic. To pass time during quarantine lock down. I got hooked on megaman 2 and, I can't get enough of it. The gameplay, the art style, the graphics, and the kick ass 8 bit soundtracks.

I had a similar experience. I knew I was gonna be locked down for 2 days (that was before covid). Playing this game made me have no regrets about the staying at home experience

I'd gladly play Mega Man 2 with your covers inserted in place of the standard OST...and that says a lot being that it's one of my favorite games of all time AND the music in it HEAVILY inspired my guitar playing when I myself was learning to play over a decade ago. Great stuff. I've messed around covering these songs, but you do it more justice than I can. Bravo.

Melancholy latin... someone else had mentioned his theme sounded lonely. I remembered since it had been my impression as well, so that makes 3. Being so fast no one can keep up with you can carry both melancholy and pride. Quick Man had to build a whole car to find competition against Turbo Man.

Great guitar work, not a fan of the rhythm that snare drum takes though, specifically the TAT-TAT at the end of each measure, if that makes any sense. Just my observation as a fan of the original, I don't claim to be able to play these instruments nearly as good.
