Seriously? I highly doubt they intended to offend anyone. And the entire roster is 8 Captain Ethnics- I'm pretty sure everyone's getting stereotyped equally. I'm not a person who complains about SJWs, but for heaven's sake, it's just a game.

I know this is a joke, but calling Mega Man 6 a game of stereotypes is cruel considering how they went into deep parts of every culture instead of just going for the surface, well-known stuff.

To be sure, that's specifically Megaman 6. That's basically because the robots in 6 were made for a tournament - think of them like WWF wrestlers; The net result is the American one is an Native American, the Japanese one a Samurai, the Arab one focused on oil and with a turban and so on. There were no Captain Ethnics before or since in the series.
