Why can't I just go back? When everything was perfect, I knew what I had and I enjoyed every minute of it, I'm just begging for those moments to return...
Imagine this in an Ultimate Legacy Collection bundle for Megaman once the *entire* series is available for all modern consoles, it would be an absolute blast
Got this for my birthday in 2006 or so. I was blown away by the effort they put into it. It could've easily just been a menu with a list of games on it and probably nobody would've minded, but everything, from the interactive game selection mechanics to the inclusion of remixed music from the Rockman Complete Works Collection, which we'll likely never get in a collection again, the whole thing was made with actual care and detail. Absolutely one of the best game compilations I've ever had the joy of experiencing.
2004. We discovered the Bob and George comic, which brought us into the rabbit hole of their forums and our sprite comic from way back when. And, at that time, I was thinking of finding used Megaman Cartridges, when my brother pointed out "You know a collection's coming out soon, right?" Good times.
Thank you for this, been looking for it everywhere lol. This takes me back to when I first got this for PS2 and was just blown away by awesomeness. Good times.
Not alone. While I played it on the Gamecube in my childhood, I picked up the PS2 version about a year or two ago to relive these games the way I played them all those years back. (and also because it's a sweet deal in general.) Love it. (Maybe even more than the GCN version!)
Ahhh the childhood memories when I had this on the gamecube. To me back then this was the best thing the Capcom released back then. it included both power battle, and power fighters in it, which were my favorite JP arcade games to play. This gave me excitement when I first saw this on the commercial I just had to have it.
I used to pop this game in my game cube, watch the Megaman ad cutscenes, and then watch as he phased into the game selection screen, and jam out to this song as a child. Best electronic music of my time.
I always thought the worm in Junk Man's stage of Mega Man 7 on the back of the Anniversary Collection disc case was a boss. And I thought the Yellow Devil's name was Rock Man, which is funny because that's Mega Man's name in Japan. Also, I really like the landing noise in Mega Man 1. Idk. It just made me happy. :)
ah yes, the memories of playing this with my brother... or, rather, him handing me a controller and telling me i was playing it when i wasn't. LOL. Not actually sure if he did that or not but i cn assume
Damn this came out just days after I turned 21 and moved out from my parents house. I played it the day I found myself moved with nothing but a bedroom, my PS2 and a small TV that was stacked on containers and this song makes me think of that day (I didnt even have my own PC yet). Nostalgia.
