Man... at 1:05 when that riff kicks in it sounds like something Satriani would do. I loved it. Fantastic cover, man! Also: "This sounds like James Bond!" - someone, somewhere, anytime there's upward chromatic movement from the 5th to 6th notes.
After hearing the MMBN collection announcement I've been patiently waiting for VGM artists to tackle the series soundtrack again! This track in particular. Amazing vibes throughout!
Even tho I hate bn4 with a burning passion, I've gotta agree. Bn4 tournament battle stage opening animation is unmatched amongst all bn series, including StarForce
your megaman covers are always spot on, I think i can speak for alot of people here when i say that your megaman covers are some of the best havent been able to check into streams but i hope everything is sick!
Me - A Aurora Borealis!? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen!? Jack - Yes : ) Me - ... May I see it? Jack - ...... No...
I can't believe I just found this now! This rocks so hard! MMBN4 is my least favorite Battle Network OST, but this track is one of the best in the entire series. And we finally have a great metal version now. :)
With the announcement of the MMBN Legacy Collection, it was only a matter of time before you pulled a few tracks from the series to look at. Would love to see your take on Proof of Courage aka Big Hero Moment Theme.
Fuck man, I played the SHIT out of Battle Network 4 as a kid, and I'm super hyped for the Legacy Collection. In my opinion, 4 was one of the best in the series, cool enemies, cool locations, good double souls, and awesome music.
For as flawed as Battle Network 4 was, its music is definitely not one of them. This theme is hype as hell and really makes me want to hear Great Battlers from BN3 from you one day!
Yeah, it's a little ironic that he chose 4 to remix a song from, since that's generally agreed to be the WORST of the Battle Network games. But, like you said, at least its soundtrack was still good. And agreed about remixing Battle Network 3. That was my favorite game in the series, and its soundtrack was also pretty great.
