"Year 22xx. A reconnaissance mission conducted by the team of Maverick Hunters successfully quelled a Reploid uprising on the man-made island Giga City. The federation government determined the mastermind behind the rebellion was the Maverick Redips. Determination of the Maverick status of the Commander of the Rebellion Army, Epsilon was deferred."
Man, I was so pissed off when Redips betrayed everyone (yet also frustrated that I could never beat his final form) I went through the entire game again just to gather up the Ultimate Armor and Absolute Zero to kick his butt. Actually, I killed him multiple times because I liked watching him suffer.
@@angelmaxxx Redips was just PURE EVIL. Simple as that. I want to relish choking the life out of him. When he asked X if he’s happy, I was like: Hell yes, he’s happy, he murdered a traitor. I want Redips to BEG for mercy before he dies.
Right? the PS2 port was my first time playing this game, and then I played the Gamecube version through an emulator years back and I never knew about the 60FPS, it's looks nice
@@GalaxiaShadow It's weird seeing the differences with the Gamecube and PS2 versions, the PS2 version lacked a lot of the cutscene sound effects and had a overall lower framerate.
Well look at how successful the Wii was. Weakest of its generation yet sold the most. DS outselling the PSP. Gameboy despite not having color in comparison to the Game Gear (at the time) sold more than its competitor. Goes to show that more power doesn't necessarily mean instant success.
@@LamestLameOK don't forget how poorly those consoles were managed, especially the vita. if sony actually got on the ball and gave support to the vita, it would've actually been good.
Wait... so... you're telling me that... Sigma ISN'T the real bad guy this time? I mean, sure X8 subverted it too, but you'd think that Sigma would steal the bad guy's thunder when he needed it the most before the final X game.
@@Rutawind I thought Sigma was destroyed by the Mother Elf, in between X8 and Mega Man Zero. Then again, the X games after X5 I consider alternate timelines.
The battle of the X series has always been perspective, and what is right. In our eyes, Redips is wrong as he sought to rule over reploids and humans. However in his eyes, he believed what he was doing was right. He didnt explain in detail why he wanted to rule but it wouldnt be too hard to guess a reason. Part of his logic is that he was tired of serving under humans. Many reploids rebelled and became Mavericks because they wanted to take control of their lives, and believed humans held them back from their true potential. The reploids are growing and changing, and because of this they view humans as shackles to repress and bind them It's why Redips says "only new generation reploids can judge us". Basically "only someone like me can judge me". New generation reploids look at X and Zero as antiques. Robots incapable of change, however X defies this, as he is able to grow and evolve in strength, understanding, and knowledge. It's also funny, as in the end, X becomes Leader of the reploids and humans inbetween the X and Zero series, and tries to make both sides get along. In the Zx era, Zeros sacrifice brings both humans and reploids together, and both sides begin to blend together and become one. 👍🏾
@@chriss.249 Plus he was a megalomaniac, close to Master Albert from ZX Advent. He wanted to rule the whole universe not Earth because to him Earth is just a tiny speck.
@@kidprime6863 Thats true, but again, we have to shift our perspective from ours, to his. The more Redips rules over, the larger the land he can have for new gen reploids to grow and prosper. In his eyes, hes doing the right thing, but to us, hes a menace. I dont wanna take it this far but look at what ppl like hitler believed. Back in the day, he and parts of the united states believed in something called Euthanasization of disabled people. This basically means medically killing someone that is handicapped or disabled. In their eyes it was to prevent genes that could cause future generations to have disabilities, and therefor the generations with said disabilities would suffer. Was hitler wrong for thinking killing people was wrong? Of course. But in his and even the eyes of some US gov officials? He was doing a good thing. Perspective is everything my friend. Its why history when broken down can be read as: "his -story". 👍🏾
chris.S You know Sigma actually thought like that. Gee I wonder where Redips got that ideal. Oh yeah he got that from Sigma. It's because Redips is Sigma since Redips has a copy chip Inside of him.
Man, i have played the japanese version in ps2 when i was child... I didn't understand nothing '-' but i beated the game and is weird see the american voices of x and zero '-'
this game is possibly located a lot After the events of X 8 that's why Sigma does not appear because x 8 lumine of course that sigma no longer exists now only the maverick virus exists
