So before I start off Chapter 8, I decide to do a little cleanup, and then I take on one of the optional bosses, Rafflesian. You can only get access to her through the Deployment Center, once they bring you the Tianna Key from Tianna Island. Rafflesian happens to guard the Ultimate Armor, X's second hyper mode, and is nothing at all like it's namesake from X4 through X6 (and X8).
Rafflesian's deal is that she heals every turn, and her stats boost every turn as well, mostly Speed and Attack. Plus, every 3rd turn she has, she uses her Sunburst attack which hits everybody on your side 10 times for 250 damage, or 125 if defending. She's also accompanied by 2 Belladonnas, who heal every turn like her, but they gain stats every time you attack them, mostly Attack and Defense. But if you manage to beat them, the Ultimate Armor is yours, and Axl gets a new addition to his Action Trigger. __
