that's gotta be the dumbest thing ever when you're trying to reach for the hadouken upgrade.... if you ask me that should've been fixed where once you have everything it should just be there in that location anyway not just randomly dying until it finally shows up
also I would like to see a fix in the so-called legacy collection to the x series cause the audio keeps going out of sync om the ps4 everytime I play it.
+Isaac Adam Get every Heart and Energy Tank, beat all Mavericks and get every Armor Part. Head to Armored Armadillo Stage. On the final segment be sure to have a full lifebar. Then (only if your lb is full) jump to the abyss 3 times (more if neccesary, but don't worry about lifes, you can spawn some with one of the bats at the start of the level). The 4th time you get there (full lifebar, ALWAYS) climb the wall before the Boss Room. There will be a capsule that will give you the Hadouken. Pull-of is the same as SF2: Down, diagonal-down and right (if facing left press left instead), then Y. :D
21:51 slow footage down and it looks like the lava blob phases through. A moment later there is a graphical cut in the footage when he attempts a slide dash across a gap. When viewed at full speed it's jarring and unlike any smooth scropling dash jumps prior. Spliced footage. Edit: After my timestamp there are two dashes: a normal one and the spliced one. The normal one features dust kicked up that dissolves into particles as part of the dash animation. The other one was spliced partway through, jumping the positioning and removing the yellow dust entirely but showing the particles afterwards. Guy is a fraud. A fraud for MegaMan points, which is sad.
@@kidzbop38isstraightfire92 Absolutely a spliced run and possibly an invincible cheat run as well. To confirm splicing, I posted a timestamp. There is a dash made shortly after and you can see the yellow dust kicked up into a sort of angel wing shape and then it disappears into particles. A second later the edited portion has no angel wing shape, only the particles from after it disappears. So why would he make a splice here? Because he got hit. Why did he get hit? Because he's not a great player. Look at all of the extremely close calls and imperfect movements, awkward positioning and whatnot. Through this line of reasoning, I'm calling him a liar and a cheat. I grew up on these games, and his movements and positioning don't strike me as someone who is confident or strategic.
Pretty impressive I was gonna close and find another vid if it was TAS run. Good vid on X and figuring out how to attain the special move it's an awesome one hitter useful in the later stages and great demonstration of such😁👍
I have a question. If you were going for no damage, couldn't the escape unit be used at the beginning of Armored Armadillo stage to revisit three more times after the second visit to obtain the 1-hit kill move and to save time, rather than giving up lives?
If you are talking about the segments against Vile, those are scripted and he HAS to take damage in order to progress the game If you are talking about him dying in Armored Armadillo, It is required to die multiple times at the end of the stage in order to get the Hadouken, if he didn't this would not be a 100% run
@@AveryMSI You don't have to die in order to get the hadouken. You can finish the stage the same amount of times and still get it. Dying multiple times is to avoid having to go through the beginning over and over again. Tbh, I'm not sure if I would call that legit either since where you land at this point in the game makes it ridiculously easy to make it to the end all 4 times because that part is the easiest part to avoid damage in the stage. I'd say because the death isn't necessary the run is questionable at best. Granted I'm not arguing against it, but it is a legit argument if one wanted to say so.
