Wow! Found it! I remember how scary and difficult this game was for me as a kid. The big purple robot at the beginning, the rising lava, the roadrunner boss arriving from the distance, morph moth. Had been wondering what this game I remembered was for a while!!

When X fought Wire Sponge,I liked the part when the game makes it look like a Fatality on Mortal Kombat if the player uses the Sonic Slicer for a finisher.

I wouldn't reconmend fighting Magna Centipede with the x buster, because magna centipede can take your moves away if you don't attack him without the silk shot and why did you went out of the weakness order when fighting mavericks?

You are Played Mega Man X2 on PS2, and I played Mega Man X2 on GCN

I think it's a bit frightening to know that Robots,now known as Reploids were intelligent enough to build own Base at point 00:the North Pole! Even more Alarming is three Reploids calling themselves X Hunters, monitoring X's movements at all times to make sure he doesn't discover what they are up to! At least those 3 made the mistake of contacting Maverick Hunter HQ, just to try and pick a fight with X. This gave Dr. Cain enough time to search for their Base.

Wheel Gator is actually easier without his weakness. He automatically just jumps in the sludge to avoid damage. It's better to just fight him with the buster

Hopefully one day this game will have a remake just like the first game.

I like the Mavericks better than the robot masters in terms of their design. They feel a lot more creative imo and they each have some interesting themes, like Magna Centipede or even Tornado Tonion

you chose the correct boss Wheel Gator is the first one. And the correct weapon to use on him is from Wire Sponge. Sorry but you chose the incorrect boss Overdrive Ostrich isn't the second but the seventh to pick you still can defeat him with the buster. Even with the buster still tough to beat him, the best way is not to allow him. To Charge or kick you and when he shoots Sonic Slicer to the air. You need to see the space between each slicer as it falls to the ground. The correct weapon to use on him is Crystal Hunter. Right now you are not doing the correct boss order, since you defeated Ostrich. You have the correct weapon to beat Wire Sponge. Even though Sponge is the last boss not the third. But with Sonic Slicer will be very easy for you to beat Sponge. i gues you never played Mega Man x2 correct, because why in the world. Are you using the buster instead of Sonic Slicer on Wire Sponge, for me is a completely waste of time. Also with Sonic Slicer you can easily destroy the things that Sponge drops on the ground. And no need to jump and hit him. The fight would be way faster with you used the weapon. Another incorrect boos Flame Stag isn't the third but the fourth boss to choose. Good luck in beating this one without the correct weapon. You were very lucky indeed in defeating Flame Stag. Because the right correct weapon is from Bubble Crab. Yeah the boss order that you are doing is completely wrong. Because another incorrect boss Crystal Snail isn't the fifth but the sixth to choose. And this one without the correct weapon will be very difficult for you to beat. You can only damage Snail after he pops out from his shell. And you can forgot in trying to hit when he is above will be impossible. Yep i knew it you would die if i were you. I would leave that stage and try another boss, But i do have to say you have guts in trying to beat a boss. With the buster which is very difficult to do. So the correct weapon is Magnet Mine to use on him. For Serges is a tricky one you can use the buster, or Sonic Slicer on him. The thing is his shield stays on every time you attack. So you need to get closer to him in order to damage. Sonic Slicer will help since will bounce all around the room. Finally you chose the correct boss Bubble Crab was supposed to be the second not the sixth boss. Again why in the world are you using the buster instead of Wheel Saw on Bubble Crab? Sorry to inform you but jumping on the wall. Won't help you against Crab because he can jump very high as well. So you wasted a lot of time using the buster on him. now you are choosing the correct boss Morph Moth is the fourth not the seventh to choose. Since you defeated Flame Stag you have the correct weapon to use on him. When Moth starts pulling debris if you used Stag's weapon you would have defeated him way faster. So Magma Centipede was supposed to be fifth boss not the last one. But since you have Silk Shot and if you used instead of the buster. You could have defeated him way faster. So next time you plan playing any Mega Man game. I recommend you first to do some research before playing.
