X4 had some all time awful voice acting, along with MM8, had that trend continued with X5, the voice acting may have again ruined the poignancy of the plot. I'm not saying the way they did it here was perfectly executed either, but they both have their pros and cons.

they did remaster Mega Man X with Megaman X Mavrik hunter but it didn't do and sell well so Capcom didn't remaster any title afterwards right now I wish they release X9

Shoot I beat this game when I was like 13, I was gonna beat it when I was 10 but I had to go get my hair done and by the time I came back my folks turned the damn game off😂😂😂 Sigma had like 2 hits left and I was sitting pretty as black zero(wakanda forever!!!) with NO subtanks left but a FULL health bar. The ending hit me HARD cuz I owned the game for ps1 when I was 5 but could only get to shadow devil as I had NO memory cards at the time for a ps1. Me getting older and beating it was like the end of an era Me accomplishing sumn my younger self couldn't do.

@@chriss.249 Oh man, that reminds me of how when I first got my PS2 I didn't have a memory card lol...it made for some very tense/frustrating moments. Although I got really f'n good at playing Armored Core 2 by the time I got one LOL...I think I was 15 in 2000 when that system came out. Man, it's crazy to think how long ago that was now. I feel your pain on the being at the end and someone turning off the game lol, my mom did that to me when I was a kid multiple times on SNES game I left on from before I went to school in Elementary lol. Ya it was a waste of electricity...but come on, lol!!

yes it was suppose to be the last one but Capcom wanted X6. X6 has the ending were Zero goes to sleep in the capsule and its from their were Zero series takes place!

Zero series was supposed to follow the bad ending of X5. Notice that in the bad ending X mentions his dream of building an "elysium" for humans and reploids, his elysium idealism is essential what Neo Arcadia is all about. X was even supposed to be the villain of Zero. The absence of Zero's memory as X's moral guidance eventually turned him maverick. Too bad since Capcom made X6 so Inti Creates had to come up with a lot of things like Copy X, Elf War, and Dr Weil in order to fix the plot hole.

Warzombie3701 # Zero is a virus, it means he can regen himself. Thats how he came back. He is a kind of wolverine of megaman, because he can regen near any damage. Any without cyber elf x, zero would die in omega explosion in the end of megaman zero 3. X and Dark elf protected him from the blast.

It was the good ending that was supposed to lead into the zero series you can repair a broken body not nothing at all.

It's so riveting for such a saddening loss of something great and what could have been but now is gone and done. Really the melody of the song is refreshing, yet eerily sad.

Yup It's sad but also feels like letting go In a sense everything set up in the classic timeline was put to rest The virus was supposed to DIE with sigma, zero(last traces of Dr wily) died, and X was finally free to do anything he couldve wanted. In a way if they ended it at X5 and not made zero series, we couldve gotten so many things from X, seeing him survive and not only travel the world helping others but also discovering new things about himself. X was bound by chains of fate to keep fighting battles against his family( the mavericks were basically his children as they were created from HIS specs) but by putting both Zero AND sigma to rest, X was freed of that fate for a small while. It's just a shame Zero never truly got that freedom too. To me, the theme is bitter sweet, the cost of freedom came at a high price, saying goodbye to a close friend and brother in arms, but because he's gone u are free to do as u please. Not to get religious on u but just like the big man upstairs sent his baby Jesus down here to die so WE could live, Zero died so that X could go on, the Red boi even says so. It just sucks cuz everybody loves zero, from his chill attitude to his color to his gameplay and what he stands for as a character. Seeing him go is painful. The song is kinda like a lullaby to me. A closing on Xs story if they decided to end things here.

Similar to the elf network in megaman zero, it's a network which is technically another dimension being their afterlife. And megaman, bass, and protoman died by zero and then fell back into hibernation, according to capcom.

@@Adamz678 actually capcom never confirmed that Zero killed them, when asked in an interview if Zero clapped them, kenji inafune said that such an act"was not in his character", and while it sounds like Bs considering he didn't really have a character until after the sigma fight, with him being the creator u kinda gotta take it as the gospel The others probably faded into obsecurity and were left to expire seeing as they had no real purpose after wily, as brutal and harsh as that sounds.

@A B I feel that, however there's sumn that went down between the 100 years that led to him being decommissioned, despite being so helpful, I honestly wanna know what that was. agarciahunter If the shuttle is fully powered up, it's not likely to fail. I never heard of any cases of that.

Yeah Zero is kinda the main reason I like red Mans legit saved me from getting jumped by gang members when I went in the wrong side of town when I was younger. His idea didn't help the X series all. Inafune almost ruined the MegaMan series in general that they put the franchise on hold, that's exactly why he got fired

X is a whiny, dramatic, naive little pussy. The guy almost never smiles, smirks, or laughs, and in my opinion X is not cool. The original Mega Man could be sad, but he never lamented on it so much. Zero's personality is much more attractive for a hero and what I like in a main character.

He didn't ruin it (unless you count Mighty Number 9). Zero just feels more right for a serious Megaman series. X feels too much like the original Mega man, but more whiney.

mopbrothers in my opinion, X could be a diplomat more, instead of fight-hungry cool archetype. First time, i'm neutral towards X, more into zero, but as time goes on, i adore X, he is my precious boy now, must protect. Lucky Capcom fixed X like it should be
