What I like about X5's bosses is that most of them aren't even Mavericks, they're just reploids that have their reasons for fighting X. Duff McWhalen is fighting X because he knows that collecting hydrogen would hurt the sea, and Squid Adler was angry at X for destroying Launch Octopus (or Octopardo for those Japanese players). It's incredibly smart.
Collecting hydrogen wouldn't hurt the sea. Tidal Whale just wants to die with dignity. Volt Kraken attacks X because he goes Maverick. Yes, he harbored some resentment toward X for Launch Octopus's demise, but he understood why it had to be done. The virus peeled all his inhibitions away. Why not kill X over it? He had no reason not to anymore.

I remember as a kid the Enigma laser managed to succeed without even having to defeat ANY of the 8 bosses. It's a hilarious memory and my brother and I still joke about it whenever we revisit the X games.
@@SegaNintendoGuy64 To each their own. I... don't actually know Guns and Roses so the names doesn't stick. Hence why Spiral Pegacion (Pegasus) sounds better than The Skiver. But then again, to each their own.
Doctor Wily may appear in Mega Man X Corrupted. Furthermore, because reverse aging has been discovered in real life means he may have used it to prolong his lifespan if given the chance. The original Mega Man story dose, after all, take place around 20XX, and because reverse aging has been discovered means Doctor Wily may still be alive even over a hundred years later.
You have no idea how I thought I was the only one that was genuinely scared as a kid fighting Sigma’s head (not at all a megaman fanatic). Had a nightmare about his creepy head with the creepy white eyes and what made it worse every time I played the same beginning was the warning siren! And it happened the same night I played that night
that's hilarious but understandable, I was like 13 when I first played it but it does have that unsettling "smooth 90's CG" look, just like the final boss

Toneladas de diálogos que não dar pra pular nem depois de zerar a primeira vez 3. Sistema estúpido de RNG na progressão 4. Fase da moto podremente piorada do X4 + fase extremamente massante da água que precisa se torturar duas vezes nela (até três dependendo do caso) 5. Sistema ridiculo de horas pra poder pegar todas as partes, além de ser desnecessariamente complexo

19:55 - 20:32 It makes me very suspicious that lightning hits you but that it doesn't hurt you, it's just very suspicious 🤔 and not only that is the case but there are some attacks from certain enemies like Rangda bangda W taking out the pickaxes and they didn't kill you by touching
That's mostly because the spikes only did damage if they fully came out of the wall, not in the middle of the animation, and the floor spikes have no hitbox; the floor was simply changed to have the spike interaction and no actual spikes were placed there. I think the engine wasn't written to actively change tiles on demand, only the interaction the tiles had. And through out the game you can see clear indicators of cut corners; even the final sigma boss (which is just a pre-render) doesn't have a full body, for instance if corners weren't cut, you'd be able to see the rest of his body past the floor where the tile set has transparency, not just in the playable area only. It's not suspicion, it's just cut corners to save money and time.

Wait...how did you fight Magma Dragoon?? I played this game through and through when it came out (despite the numerous flaws)...and I do not at all recall this.I am so confused! lol
