As Nightmare Rain damage is not considered to be damage by the game itself, which can also be seen by the fact that the "Damage Received" part of the mission report is 0 even on stages with it, this is indeed a no damage run. And what a marvelous run it is. Kudos to the video creator!
Says who? How do you think the programmers feel or the designers as well or whoever else was involved within the development of X6? Face it, ULTIMATE ARMOR IS A CHEAT CODE INTENDED ONLY FOR THE GOOD AND SKILLED PLAYERS OF THE GAME, there is a fucking reason as to why the code is only shown at the very end of the game, as a reward for the players who were skilled and determined enough to see it through to the end. Playing X6 for the first time with cheats like the Ultimate Armor is straight up disrespecting the developers who have sacrificed their time to do this, and just spamming giga attack and the giant charge buster takes away all merit that you can gain from playing the game normally, even switching to Zero in an X play through just because your struglling with the game is still less of a crap to do than to literally cheat yourself out of an experience and disrespect a very clear intent of having the cheat be a reward. If you're gonna play X6 then actually consider using things that were put in the game, like the armors and the upgrade chips you get from repliroids you save, that way you make the experience much easier for yourself while not dismissing the whole game entirely with two of the most OP moves that the Ultimate Armor gives you. Who do you or people who think like you, think they are to dismiss X6 as being a "game that cheats"? You fucking people wouldn't dare say the same thing or even do the same thing for X4 now would you? Oh but let me guess "X6 BADLY DESIGNED AND UNFAIR, X4 GOODLY DESIGNED AND VERY FAIR, YOU STUPID X6 FANBOY" who are you to decide that the game is cheating you or not? You don't know what went through the mind of the development team of X6, you just took to heart all of the slander from people like Johnny and the like that state the game cheats even though they have no clue, or Inafune's childish, Zero-obsessed displeasure at X6's existence, that prideful son of a bitch. I bet if I were to cheat at a favorite game of your choice you wouldn't like that now would you? How is it fair then to cheat at X6? Every polished and retail sold video game deserves a fair shot with no cheats, even if it's batshit insane in difficulty (which X6 is not even close to being) the developers of it slaved hours into developing in it, you could say they approved or didn't care if the player cheats, or they hated that people cheated. You can't ever know THAT, BECAUSE YOU NEVER HEARD THEIR SAY IN THE MATTER BECAUSE THEY NEVER HAD A CHANCE TO SAY ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT THEY THINK OF THIS, WHICH is why the only approach that is valid ***IS THE FAIR AND SQUARE APPROACH*** with grain of respect and humbleness to the developers. I love experimenting with cheats, but I first feel like I have to earn what the cheats provide to truly be worthy of using them, I still feel a modicum of guilt for using cheats after I beat Zero 3 to just have fun with them, I want to earn it and be worthy of it with my own skills, so I can pay dignity to myself and to the development team, I won't be seeing those EX skills in Zero 3 until I have what it takes to get them. This I believe is how every game should be approached in, this guilt mindset. All I ask of you and people who share this mindset is to just not parrot this, and give X6 another chance without the use of cheats that were only intended for the skilled player to leisure in, even if you don't end up liking it, that's fine. X6 isn't an experience for everyone, but please give some respect to the game and it's developers that is all I ask as a fan of Rockman X6.
Ultimate Armor makes X6 more bearable due to Nova Strike traversing. I don't use Nova Strike in boss fights just for movement especially for the rescuable reploids in Infinity Mijinion stage.
Who likes playing with Ultimate Armour just for continuity. Like, I got to keep my armour from X4 to X5; I got the Ultimate Armour in 5 --- why shouldn't I still have it in X6?
If you didn't know if you hit the dash and saber (no second weapon like magma blade it won't work) and you do it fast you can repeat it over and over and over without dashing.
Well, I'm refreshed, it has been a while since I have seen gameplay like this... I am not saying you did good or you did bad... I am watching your gameplay since it is kinda unique...and relaxing
More likely revise than change. X4's Nova Strike has identical sound effect to that normal dash. So that ultimate armor's giga attack in this game would have more powerful sound effect to distinguish which normal dash and Nova Strike jet stream. Plus I surely do believe Inafune does not have complete control over sound design of X series.
This armor he's using is only obtainable with a cheat code, you can't normally just boost through everything. Also by defeating the secret High Max fight he skipped to the final levels, which is normally a very bad idea to do early.
dude, i don't know if you're joking but this game is known to be very unfair. The only reason why it seems so easy is the fact that the player is using the armor. Trust me, it's not easy.
@@TAOSEELE yeah I know, I already thought you were sarcastic but since I already met people that said things like that seriously I thought "hey better be careful here".
you know for the idea in having the ultimate armor being put into the game... not just a cheat code but why and how come didn't they had the idea where they can just convert data from x5 into x6 and "or" make it as a unlockable perk within gameplay?
For the latter, they likely thought of it but scrapped it as X6 seems to have been designed around Falcon instead and they had other things to worry about. As for converting data between games, while it likely could have been cool, it would have taken a lot of work to implement and they likely just didn't think of that.
Its too similar the blade armor to include it fully, that and the Shadow armor is actually pretty good (unlike its predecessor the gaea armor) its simply not needed. This game needed proper play testing is what it needed
