Yes Warden, you were a very bad person when you worked at that institution in Maine. Also, Andy was the only inmate who was really not guilty. Anyone know the movie where Jim borrowed that really beautiful line?
@Todd m no the money just gets added to the next lottery. They cannot steal it. They could pretend to give it to him, but he's never seen again. What you say doesn't make sense. But obviously this is all conspiracy theories
Smart kid. Exactly what you should do. Always blows my mind when people win the lottery and think they can still stay in their same house, in the same town/city without making any major changes.
@@ohmylanta9973 no you wouldn't. Your child support would increase if your baby mom found out. My best advice is win in a state you can remain anonymous
The greatest thing you would win is not the money, but the time it gives you. Not having to work will free up all your time so you can do as much or as little as YOU want every day. Set up a trust that will pay for all your expenses, which frees up more time. A trust makes it easier to say no, "sorry, I don't handle my money, I have people taking care of it for me." Think of living a free life.
Its even more odd that it was recommended to me 3 years and 6 days later from your post for tonight while its $850M. See what I did there? It means absolutely nothing, you aren't special.
I would thank the Lord for that huge Blessings. Stay humble. Never take anything for granted. Think wise. Continue working. Pay off my debt. Take care of my family Build a practical house. Be thankful everyday
His my long lost twin brother. Mom just said she loved eating the Breyers Chocolate Vanilla mix flavor. Because she loved eating it all the time I came out chocolate, and my long lost twin brother came out vanilla
you would think but alot of states require the winners to announce their identity. Its B.S but true looked into it awhile ago and theres only a few states that allow winners to stay anonymous
Don't know about everyone else, but I'd start a scholarship foundation for under privileged kids. I'd interview the candidates in person and visit them in their homes to let the winners know they were going to college on my dime so I could see the faces of them and their families. I've never done anything in this world that gave me true joy..I think that would.
You really don't need to pay a lawyer to do all of this for you. You can hire your own personal security, manage your own finances because it's basic math, and go collect your jackpot and move on by yourself. When you invite all of these people into your world, you open yourself up to be robbed of your fortune by financial advisors who's only interest is their pockets. If you know how to use the plus, minus, subtraction and division sign on a calculator, congratulations! You can manage your own money.
Good for him. I have to disagree with him though. Unfortunately good things do not always come to people who do good things. I see bad people get over all the time and it sucks.
Nope. I was raised with that mindset about being good and you will be blessed for your goodness but i keep getting lots of bs including people. Sometimes i feel like this world is not worth living anymore because of how people are nowadays.
Well then u don't believe in positive self talk then. U have to really believe in getting good things otherwise u simply don't have enough faith plain and simple
@@carlswindelliv2701 No, that is simply not true. I do believe in positive talk, but that is what it is. There is nothing wrong thinking like that. You can try to fool your mind all you want, but there are simply some things you cannot control in your life. There are a lot of people out here that have faith and belief that experience negative things. Negative or bad things are going to happen to everyone. That is reality. Some people just believe in positive talk when the good things happen to them. Even the righteousness of people say why are these things happening to me. You have to believe in what you believe in or what works for you. What works for you may not work for me.
Nobody is all good or all bad. A "good" person might be poor because they are "bad" with their finances, for example. Likewise, a very "bad" person might be extremely wealthy because they are extremely "good" at business. If a person determines to be "good", not just in the moral sense, but also in their spiritual walk, their personal relationships, their health (exercise and diet), and with their finances, then that person is (more often than not) going to be very successful in all aspects of their life.
@Uncle Ruckus I've come to realize that even that is subjective it all depends on ones view of the world it does not help you to think like that because only when u are mindful does it become unbullshit
Gilded Chamber it’s no where close to just thinking about money with no work lmao.. you obviously don’t know. Even if it was this man just made more money you’ll ever make in your life by reading that book lmao
I used to think these millionaire winners were idiots for blowing all their money and being broke again. I blew through a very, VERY small amount of money (roughly years wages for minimum wage worker) in less than a year and didn't even go on a shopping spree or buy anything crazy, just did what the millionaires do, spent without thinking, exactly like the videos warn about. Now I'm broke again, guess that's karma for talking shti about all those millionaires 😔
That's exactly what I'm going to do as soon as I win a lottery prize. Nobody's going to know and I'm going to invest it however I feel necessary for my family, and I will disappear especially from certain kind of "Friends".
1) sign my ticket, put it in a ziplock bag and don't tell ANYONE 2) talk to 5 attorneys 3) go to the lottery place to gets muh money!! quit my job 4) wear a mask to remain anonymous if the law allows 5) put it in a trust 6) donate half to charities with low overhead 7) pay off mom and dad's debt. pay off their house and build them a new house. pay off their vehicles 8) pay off my bills and travel
If you sign your ticket you have to show up to claim winnings. All the cameras will be in your face and your name revealed. Do it anonymously in a trust.
@@lorrimiller7010 yeah, i'll be in a mask when i show up. i'll show 13 forms of id to prove it's me and and show my face behind closed doors to whoever i need to but i am NOT showing my face on camera
Congrats! Omg! It would be life changing. I lost jobs, car and kids to being broke. I did not agree for a game to be made of my life and battled a narcassist. I love my kids money would allow me to do more for my kids who arent with me! I am so happy to hear a life changing a story. Congrats again!
It Amaze's me how certain people want to tell you how to spend or invest your money if you win big, but before you won Big they had nothing to do with you.
If they DON’T help you (they have the experience) you’ll be broke within 2 years. You think you deposit a 100 million check in your regular checking account?
If I’m not mistaken this was the guy that tried to keep his social media page going and people were asking money for their dying babies and their dying relatives. You have to run and hide when you win that kind of money.
Don't tell anyone even if it's a smaller amount of money. I won $5000 on a scratch some years ago. I told a few friends and within 24 hours a friend had an "emergency" wanted to borrow "whatever I felt I could help with". I sent her $200 (knowing I would not see it again) and later found out that it was for a down payment on a 2 year old's birthday party! Needless to say, she did not attempt to repay it and didn't understand why I cut her off. KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.
There’s also the other side of the coin. I won $45,000 back in 2006, told all my close friends, bought myself a $30,000 car that I wanted and no one asked me for money. I was happy to be Santa Claus for my family that Christmas. That was fun. I didn’t tell the whole world but as soon as I bought my luxury car, people looked at me differently. Lol
That's why I would enact a plan to claim it looking not quite myself, but in a disguise to keep people seeing who I really am and it provides safety and security to my family.... Second is getting a gun or two and just leaving town after I claim it. Since my governor wants to be nosey and allows people who win in NYS to be advertised...
In 1 second they would have your photo and all your internet dealings. The news have experts at doing just that. You will need a tax attorney. A lawyer to write up documents.
If I won that much. I would give my brothers and sisters 5 million each. Maybe a couple of good friends. That were there for me. I would only keep 100 million. The rest help the homeless, poor, and finance projects. I would hire a chef, maid, and 2 Delta force soldiers. I would put 5 million in an account for each retirement. 5 years of service. That would make people loyal.
Shidddd!!!! $50,000 .00 will get me in order. But what the hell , if a big 1 falls into my lap ,I'm spreading the love ,wealth and charity. 💝✌🙏💰💲💵💸💸 my fellow gamblers.
When Jack Whittaker in WV won a huge lottery, his family had all kinds of tragedy and death...daughter found dead in a dumpster. He was at a strip bar and got knocked over the head , attempted robbery. Divorce followed, and his wife actually said if she knew what it would all mean, she would never have wanted the money. Of course, there is the matter of moral barometer, and good people can and do win, and do good.
It’s really hard not to spend when you win. I won $1,000 once. Bought a house, bought a bunch of cars for the family and kids, bought a boat, now I’m over $1M in debt!
@@morenabohlale8615 I think Michael is being sarcastic, but wouldn't surprise me if he's telling the truth. He could have bought all of that on credit and loans. A lot of people did similar things and ended up in debt. 🤔
@@everettfanor1989 The standard insurance amount is $250,000 per depositor, per *insured* bank, for each account ownership category. People hire attorneys for a reason.
Technically I won the lotto. I had purchased a resto-lounge business off a wealthy man. The deal was good and the profits were enormous at this place. I remember when I bought this place I kept it on the downlow. Never told a soul. Until one day my wife blabbed her big mouth and told my cousins. To which they started calling me and needing to be my best friend. I then had backlash from family questioning why I never "told them" myself. 14 months later I lost the business lost around $8M in profits and went bankrupt. How? Well, evil eyes and bad mouthing and cursing went on when I never gave handouts to family members. Moral of the story....When you obtain success, pretend your not succeeding. Oh and the wife? I left the bitch. Cheers.
@@Sugarholiccc Didn't work for me. I kept asking God to let me win the Mega Millions and I never won. Finally, I asked Him why He hated me so much? He said "Maybe you should meet me halfway and buy a damned ticket."
What ever you do live on interest, don't touch the principle ( the lump sum). With that type of money you will probably get millions a year in a high yield account.
Wow! Congrats! Nice to see you are doing good things with the money... not very many generous people left in this world!!! And thanks for following me on Instagram :)
After taxes and attorneys are dealt with.. I would buy gold and silver bars..land,. Art.. Then build dream house and pay the light bill up for 50 years with one check,, then I would proceed to lounge indefinitely smoking a tobacco pipe sipping wine and reading books ..
Kinda leaning that way myself. Because as you most likely know, historically speaking gold just increasing in value in the long term. And of course shtf, you got actual something of great value. I really don't see any downside except maybe taxes?? But that's why I'd need some very good advice from professional people.
When I win I'm not spending any money on money pits. No big properties where property tax, maintenance and utilities eat up my cash. No plane or yatch purchases. Not even if I get $100 mil after taxes.
property tax on a $1m property is only $6000 per year. lets be absurd and say the total upkeep for the house and a personal maid is $50k a year. $100m invested into the market which gains on average 7% per year would be +$7m the first year it grew. once you understand gains like that, 50k a year is nothing. lets assume you win and bank 100m at age 18, if you invest that in a mutual fund that averages 7%, at age 65 you would have 2.4 billion ($2,404,570,701) you could withdraw 1m per year and still watch the money grow throughout your lifetime. money grows, and that is why the rich get richer. a successful business person that amasses a 100m networth at a young age can die a billionaire simply by investing and watching it grow over the decades.
at the Bronx ny 1984 i was behind the biggest lotto winner in the U,S,A $20,000,000** last time i saw him he smile cause he recognize me the day he was buying his ticket and that 20 millions $$$$$$$$$$$$ it was 2 games for $1
I won $30 from my state's lotto - needed 3 or 4 numbers (out of 6) to get $30 - as I was matching the numbers my excitement was increasing because I thought I won the jackpot (like 5 million) only to get slammed back down to earth with my regular person winnings.
I would rather get the lump sum cash and manage my own money. The attorneys aint always guaranteed to secure ur money. If u win a jackpot huge like Shane, no one should be broke, those of yall that thinks hell blow his money on drugs or whatever. I believe he way smarter than that.
@@sergiogonzalez7391 You don't use professionals to not lose the money. You use them to help maintain it. Basically, invest the majority of it in low risk investments so that you can solely live off of the interest without ever needing to touch the jackpot sum (principal). Anyone could park said win in a bank & then budget themselves thousands per day. You wouldn't do that for multiple reasons & if you don't have experience with large sums of wealth, then you stand a far greater risk of losing it by yourself than you will by having professionals do it for you.
Also having a lawyer is also so you can remain anonymous and set up the proper legal trusts to funnel money in a way that requires you to pay the least amount in taxes.
Back in my younger days I would of bought a bunch of “toys” cars, trucks, boats. But now as I’m older I would have like to not work paycheck to paycheck and actually finish college with a couple degrees and also just buy a motor home and travel the US to actually see the beautiful mountains and monuments and parks and waterfalls being more of an outdoor person.
When. I heard he won mega million I couldnt believe someone that young won. My pare ts and I have been playing for decades and still havent won. Did shane buy that jet? He was smart staying in a budget motel. Theres nothing wrong with that you spend most of your time in your house then you car. You see players and lotto winners blow it partying in hotels, buying bentleys and phantoms. I'd be satisfied in an acura rex, honda accord, Lexus 570 and toyota Camry. I'm not picky or expensive. I've learned to be practical. I'm ready to win both Powerball and mega million jackpots
The mathematical probability is often 1 : 247,000,061 or something around that chance of winning the lottery. It depends on the lottery i suppose. And this would lead many to believe that if you buy 247mil tickets youll win, but even if you did do that, youd be spending way more money than you get from the win. That and each ticket is the same chance, its not garunteed the more tickets you buy. Totally forgot what equation is used to figure it out, skmething like : x tickets * nPr /amount of years you buy those tickets for * how many tickets are bought per day
Agree - money also just makes you more of the type of person you already are. A little selfish -> SUPER selfish, Generous -> incredibly generous, miserable -> addiction, broke and suicide miserable.....
Take a picture of the ticket put the ticket in it security lock box at a bank start talking to lawyers financial advisors create a blind Trust tell no one allocate family members or beneficiaries of the trust a yearly income of a reasonable number carry on with your life as Anonymous as possible
Y V It’s only the worst advice if you tell people WHAT you’re putting in the vault box at the bank. That is not required or advisable. Just put it there for safekeeping. No one needs to be told it’s there. As for trusts, have the attorney draft a receiver trust that gets the money. That is the name that would be released publicly. Then have a bridge trust drawn up that flows the money from the receiver trust to your personal banking. This would allow you to remain anonymous, even in the states where winner disclosure is authorized.
I agree, go stay at a high end hotel or resort, hire a well trained EP/security detail, rent or lease vehicles(change them often). Be leery of any new "friends" or scams.

People don't understand how hard manifestation can be, you can't just say you believe, you have to believe to your core which takes incredible focus and work. I have manifested a 600k a year salary from my business, but it took making a million, losing my belief and allowing fear and anxiety in, losing the first business to understand how hard you must work at belief to stay on top. You really can manifest better health, money, love, a new life, but the universe, the energy that delivers all positive and negative, knows what you truly believe inside.
I'm not ready yet. I had anxiety trying to figure out where to live and who would be coming at me plotting. It must be really stressful having all that money. Good luck to whomever wins. Now you can't trust why people like you now.
