Getting rid of all that metal must have been very cathartic. And, OMG, we can see from one side of the garage to the other! You've been very busy mate. Thanks for sharing.
Thank u for all the knowledge u given me, pertaining to scrapping, self preservation, living off the land, n your kindness for always thinking about others, leaving things for other scrappers, may u be blessed, but there is one thing I can help u with, that's good health, hopefully u will respond, I would love to pass u some knowledge to give u good health n longevity, bc I need u to keep scrapping I live your videos, u the best scrapper in the tube hands down
it's coming along good, just need more time between e-waste pick up jobs, everyone wants to clear out before the new year so i'm busy doing that but yeah, next video will show a much cleaner garage
You IC selling story reminds me when I tried to sell scrap germanium lenses. In theory germanium is worth a lot, in practice only electronic componants manufacturers and thermography lenses manufacturers need germanium. Problem: they do not purchase their raw materials second hand from ebay !!! I finally ended selling 2000 dollars worth of germanium for 100 dollars or so, it went to China and Japan.
🇺🇸Greetings eWaste Ben. Keep up the great work that you're doing. I love watching your channel. "Merry Christmas & Happy New Year " to you & your family. May all your endeavors continue to be blessed. Be safe, healthy &blessed
Hey thanks for making these marathon videos. I don't scrap but find stuff like this super interesting and it shows that there is money to be made in nearly almost anything. Also great videos while I do my house work/ homework Thanks again mate 👍
Well done Ben. I wish I could come down from NSW and give you a hand in just processing and finishing that garage completely. Always a good video from you. Keep scrapping and cleaning All the best👍
Congratulations on this achievement! :D This series was super interesting to watch, thank you for it! You always mention people that criticize you for scrapping certain objects. I think they need to watch more of your videos, because you clearly have all the experience to know best how to do your scrapping.
There was very interesting story recently about Australia opening a plastic recycling plant that uses hot water at high pressure to liquefy the plastic back to oil form which can be sold to make new plastics or refined into petrol. I know here in the US I haven't found any real sources to give the plastics to when I scrap, the recycle centers will even trash any loose plastics since their vendors don't really want it.
Hey Ben! For your propane furnace you should buy a spray can of Engine Enamel made by Rust-Oleum. It comes in 11 colors and it hardens from the high temperature.
Hi Ben we just want to say again thank you for all you do in stopping stuff going to landfill and to wish you and all your subscribers a merry and safe Christmas.
What a diffrence ben compared from start to finish and still a few hours to go but great marathon thanks for it now on to the x-mas or new year special
This was an awesome series to watch, good to see you are just about ready for the coming year 👍👍👍 1:52:40 I keep having the same problem with mine, at 1150 Celsius it keeps blowing the fuses, its very annoying because I like using it. If anyone has some tips to prevent this from happening, I would be very grateful. 👍
Need you a wire stripper like BigstackD has. Strip down all your wiring and get your forge running and you’ll have some mega fine copper recovery going!
I've really enjoyed your scrap marathon videos. Cant wait to see your new melt videos and more street scrapping. Always enjoyable to see what you find. How about a pure copper bauble? Looking forward to more, keep it up 👍
Spare a thought for Perths Tree Man (Mr Pennicuik) who spent 108 days living in a tree outside his home in Hume Road in Thornlie in 2010 after the City of Gosnells advised him they were planning to cut it down due to public safety concerns.
extremely well done ben! that was quite a challenge! 😊🍻 maybe you need to catalogue each draw and tape whats in it on the front so you can check whats in it so you dont get dupes! (mainly stuff like the draws with xboxes etc not components so you dont get dupes!) now go rest! you deserve it! 😊🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
What's up Geoff Upton?? It's been many months since I said Hi. Hope all is well with you and ALL around you!! Remember our prediction a little over a year ago? If scrap prices didn't take a dive like it did, then your predictions would most definitely have happened, now we have to see what the next six months will do, to see if the other predictions will happen!! Have a GREAT Day My Friend!!!
Every video I watch I realize more and more how bbn lucky you are. In the states my 3 scrap yards won't take have of what you put in scrap steel and they accept electronic waste but don't pay for it. And prices are low low low. It's hard to even make money off mother boards unless you mail them somewhere. Plus the scrap you find on the street is insane. I don't know how guys live here.
You can be happy to be in Down Under. In Germany ist forbidden to take anything from hard rubbish piles and to make it as a buisness you need a certificate as a e scrapper, but its just 5000AUS$ -.- + Bad Weather If I ever come to Australia for vacation, you must take me on a scrap tour :D Until then Im watching your videos with my 4 little aussies/budgies. Keep up your great content
You did GREAT Ben!! Love ALL of your marathon videos! Sometimes I can get through it in a short time and sometimes it takes a couple of days! I'm looking forward to your future vids! It's going to be different and great now that you can get into your garage and work bench!! I hope you're still doing your RU-vid channel when you start your gold recovery and refining!! Have a GREAT Day My Friend!!! P.S. You said at some of your vids from 3 & 4 years ago that your gold recovery is going to be your retirement!! Don't wait to long!! You probably have enough gold to support you for many years!!! Are you waiting until you have $10,000,000.00 in gold before you want to start your retirement plan!! Haha, but seriously you got... I'm guessing at least in the low 6 figures of gold!! That's just what I've been able to view from your vids!! I know you probably have WAY more than that, that I've never seen!!
@@eWasteBen If gold is $2,500.00 or more an oz. I wouldn't be surprised!! That's only 40oz. of gold to get to $100,000.00. In just your CPU collection you have a few ounces or more. Alot of this is guessing, but I'm guessing from watching all your videos with most of your videos I've watched twice. If cpu's can yield a tenth a gram of gold, 10 cpu's for a gram. Obviously not talking about the pinless cpu's. But dang, when you have barrels that you can't move. You've got a GREAT thing going on! I'm supper excited for your future my friend!!
you have tried an air hammer to get ICs, MLCCs, Tantalums from PCBs, its very fast, also those lenses don´t degrade like the electronics they are still worth a lot at lest 10 times the rest of scrap gives you
New tools for Christmas!!! A pack of driver bits, some fancy sidecutters, and a barrel of cheap sidecutters. Does an Australian brand make a full 1/4” drive torx set?
I wrote it before but Your chickens would love the worms You could raise while useing up very much cardboard and things like chicken beding and coffee grounds , anyway Merry Christmas, from me , by North Pole , dang worms are all frozen here {ha}...........................dee
