Never be ashamed of your art and the pieces you drew to get to where you're at. Display your story prominently and proudly! Mine is still just doodles and fan art, that has never changed. What has is I stopped caring about what everybody else thought about it. It's sooo much more enjoyable that way.

The amount of improvement in all of these Sketchbook tours I see is literally insane. I own like ten sketchbooks of the past four-ish years of my art life and the middle school art is so relatable except my coloration never looked that beautiful sob sob I still can't color that well despite growing more in digital art :,D But the improvement again. Seriously. From the first sketchbook to the next to the next. SO MUCH IMPROVEMENT AND NOW IN THE PRESENT DAY YOU'RE LITERALLY AMAZING

It's so endearing and wonderful to see how your art has developed 💖 It's also so heartwarming to see that we all kind of went through the same phases lol I also would like to compliment 2014 you for making FULL PAGE illustrations (and coloring them too), like that's so courageous to me. I'm afraid to do something like that even today after years of making art 😭 (btw I felt it when you said that you felt guilty for drawing the cleavage to that one girl, I distinctly remember younger me being absolutely terrified of doing that) I can't wait to see more of your art!! THANK YOU so much for posting this! This video is really inspiring, seeing how your art has grown over the years and all the mistakes that eventually got your art to where it is now. It reminded me that art doesn’t have to be perfect and theres always going to be more paper to draw on if learning mistakes are made. Will be using pen to draw more often, and I also call splatoon squid game, a lot.

your art journey is so inspiring to me. I was always scared to approach a sketch book for the longest time until my friend got me one years ago. I always thought that every piece and sketch had to be a master piece and perfect and it is still haunting me now and I have been desperately and slowly shaking it off but I keep falling back into that state, as a chronic overthinker . But actually seeing an artist's journey, your journey thought good and bad and just seeing you roast you own art in a good way makes me laugh and look at it from another point of view. not everything has to be perfect, and I should do what makes me happy. I felt the same way with fan art as I never did it because it felt wrong and almost a crime because I felt it was cheating and just 'stealing' art, or would never do it the justice it deserved as I had seen so many others do. I praise people for how free they can make art and just do what they love. so to that I tip my hat, and I thank you for helping me just a bit to bust out my sketch book and draw random things again that aren't all perfect and I aspire to do what you do, to follow your dreams. I only just found out your channel and inta but it already helped me so much, its almost freeing. :)

I always love seeing fellow artists' journeys of improvement. 🥰 just a side note though: it's okay to like Undertale. it was a good game! any Undertale fanart is not automatically cringe. also, as a self-admitted furry.... you're fine. it's fine. 😂 "draw what makes your heart do the smiley emote", haha! I also wanted to commend how strong you are for dealing with your wrist issues, and having to start from square one with your art. I was working a retail job for awhile that involved a lot of repetitive wrist motion, and I nearly ended up in the same position as you-- I can't imagine how I would have dealt with that. kudos to you for handling it as best you could! tl;dr, there's no need to defend what you enjoy or inspires you. just make what you love, and keep on moving forward! stay strong!!!!! 😤💖
