Hi everyone, after working as a math teacher I finally got enough money to buy myself an new pc and monitor. So now I can make high fps videos which was always my childhood dream. Now I dont have as much time sadly to record, but at least a little :D
Hope you enjoyed this montage :)
Also I finally decided to learn hotkeying. Took me 10 days practicing in uhc duels, pot pvp duels and building a hotkey practice machine in survival. Then I played some mega walls games, and it is so much easier to hotkey in mega walls for some reason, you have much more time and very friendly to practice in. Took me though 11 more days of playing mega walls with hotkeying to get really good. In total it took me 3 weeks to learn to be very good at it, altough I still make mistakes. No wonder since I have used scroll wheeling for 6 years or something. And 3 weeks with just a few mistakes is nothing so will get much better, this is just the beginning.
For those wondering here are my hotkeys:
1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-c, 7-v, 8-b, 9-n.
For toggle sprint I used capslock, since I still have the abit off pressing ctrl cuz I have been doing it for 6 years. So still do it and feels comfortable, but I use toggle sprint capslock on always sprint on, only very rarely in parkour do I toggle it off. But even single block jumps are easier in sprint when u get used to it (altough not always). Toggle sprint is useful for other wise when you hotkey and get hit your sprint resets for you cant hold the ctrl button while hotkeying.
Might change hotkeys abit in the future, to be able to rod better. However, I have used rodding with scroll wheel for 38k kills in skyclash. Tried rodding with good hotkeys, but think it is still inferior to scrolling rodding. For you have even more freedom (not only in strafing but other things as well). Have also gotten so good at hotkeying that it doesnt matter if I put the rod or snowballs in places I usually have other items. When rodding I have sword in slot 1 and rod in slot 9 and use scroll wheel. Works awesomely and I can hotkey easily to sword or rod to start rodding faster. So hotkeying made my rodding using scroll wheel go up a level.
I also use scroll wheel still for stacking up from bedrock. You know where you mine one block and place 1 block. I can do it with hotkeys. But both work really well and neither gives an improtant advantage currently so I still use scroll whell when stacking up. (altough if I want more hotbar flexibility I should use hotkeying for then I can place blocks and pickaxe seperately, which makes me gain more freedom in hotbar. I can do it using hotkeys already, but have no reason to change it yet. Might use hotkeys instead if it is needed to figuyre out snowman hotbar layout).
I have still been trying to figure out my hotkey setup for snowman, since using scroll wheel for it is optimal when building snow golems while running and due to other things it just works better. Will experiment more with it in due time and find a good setup for it that I can like and get good at.
So I still use scroll wheeling and now also use hotkeying, and get the best of both worlds. Sometimes still use scroll wheel for basic stuff as well. But when pracitcing it is better to force yourself to not use scroll wheel at all. But ye I get the best of both worlds and dont have to sacrifice either advantage and skills I have learnt. Of course for a little while I was like a new player when practicing hotkeying, but things always get worse before they got better. And learning how to hotkey made me realise how to improve things irl. For the process really is the same, and feelings are the same, so I just translated the process into real life and it worked. So ye, dont think gaming isnt useful. Not to mention how good it is for your brain, and life lessons you can learn by essentially living out several lives while gaming, and also learning art of war by sun tzu for imrpoving strategies. I think mega walls captures the whole scope of real life many times. Both in success, community, luck, skill, Gods, cheats, group, individual, science, complex decision making, story, truly everything. I think you learn both much more and it is much more better for you than chess. It is extreemly good for character develpment as well. Given if it is done correctly, and you actually think abit about how you can translate lessons ig into irl, and you dont sacrifice the rest of your life for gaming. But ye enough talking xd

@@cyrusspitama haha no I love that stuff, I am studying electrical engineering and absolutely love math. Was teaching one variable calculus at university level. I was a teaching assistant going through different exercises and helping them with home work and gave my students tips on what to study on for the weekly test and for the exams. I also gave them some general tips about engineering and you dont have to be good at math to be one. Both good at math and bad at math engineers are needed. You never do everything while working anyway. So you dont have to be a genius. I also told them that most of them would fail the class xD. Since it is the course most people fail of a 50% failure rate. So I told them to help each other and I would help them if they fell behind. Apparantly they liked me as a teacher so I was invited to their "inauguration party" special term used at our school but like they set up a mini theater thing. Well I got invited and helped a guy that was super afraid of performing, by telling him that try to sing as bad as possible for then everyone else will not feel they have to perform as well. So everyone can be human and be allowed to be normal and not the absolute best (they arent singers to begin with and most had never sung before so ye, no need to feel pressure for not being good enough, accept your shortcoming, be humble and star where you can. They had practiced but compared to singers who have sung their whole life for several years, they only practiced 1 month and performed admirably. At least they had courage for sure). Thinking of other people and helping them made him calm down, he then sang very well xd. But ye he just needed a reason to fail and a reason to succeed and he did it. And after the first song and they heard the audience supporting them with clapping they got more comfortable, they got reaffirmed and got more courageous. Anyway, would want to teach the same course after summer since I now have all the material prepared so the workload is very low and I get better at teaching that specific class. But might teach linear algebra or multivariable calculus next semester because I will be busy during the start of the semster, and the only courses you can teach later in the year is them pretty much. But ye thx for asking :D

@@cyrusspitama Likewise I have alot of respect for people who study litterature and history as well. Find the history of humans and the universe super intresting as well as philosophy. Have a ton of philosophy books that I have bought (altough they have been gathering dust lately xd) Well my path in electrical engineering hasnt been straight at all tbh, have had to retake a year and will again now. However that is fine, all things come in due time and at their pace. Sometimes you cant force things to go faster no matter how much you want to. So you just have to accept it, and instead enjoy the journey of detours. It is in the detours you find things you were looking for, for you hadnt find them on the path you were on. Also I have had so much fun once I got over the fact I had to retake 2 years. I have learnt so much as well. I wouldnt trade the 2 years I had to retake for anything. I really mean that. Didnt feel like it in the moment, and still I get the thoughts of suffering, but I eventually get reminded again of all the great things I have experienced while retaking 2 years and I got to do all the fun things I never had time to before, and I got to spend extra time with my family before graduating and moving. And so much much more I dont have time to write about here. But ye I am truly happy things happened like this. Now I just have to make sure I Slowly and steady move back on the path and get a secue future. Not some ideal future but good enough and secure. For most dreams die once you get a family, and you realize your dreams were never possible but you found something better. Altough I will never give up for I like to dream xd, however I wont force myself to suffer or suffer if I fail a dream. It is just a fun thing that I dont expect anything from no matter how much work I put in, and if it works, then all the merrier, but just doing the thing is fun. High expectation leads to giving up, low expectation leads to perserverance. Assume that it can work, but dont expect it to work kind of. But ye, the turtle wins the race, the turtle perseveres, the turtle has fun, the life of the turtle is simple, the turtle can see the wonders around him, the turtle doesnt get hurt, the turtle enjoys the journey. The turtle always win. Well not always, both have things that are fun and advantageous. But You need to use both, and most people neglect the turtle, so most people need it more.

The end of an era, but also the start of an are :) All good things have to end, but all good things have to start at some point as well. When one good thing ends, a new good will enter your life. There will be two good things. You cannot compare them, like apples and oranges, they are different kind of good. However we can all keep in our hearts that both are good. And head foward with our memories of Good in our heart and the hope for the future good in our heart, for the good yet seen, we can hope for it for it has yet arrived. Hoping in what is seen will disappoint and fail you, but as you hope for what is unseen, you will not be betrayed for you can always keep hoping and it will eventually reward you. I just realized the footage is not as crisp as it should be. I tried to figure it out and just realized the bitrate is 10x lower than it should be on the rendering. Or I think that is the problem. Next video will look better hopefully xd

Try recording at whatever your resolution is and then rendering at 4k. It should fix the recording looking pixelated. You can also upscale it using ffmpeg but that’s a lot more complicated

haha thx :D Ye was hard finding good renders ngl, luckily I got some help from knayer who linked me a video and then I tried many different settings. I record using OBS using fractional fps, recording at 240fps denominator 1. Then I record it to mp4 file, and I use QCP mode for bitrate, and QCP is set to 24 (might make it worse quality tho cuz it took alot of memory on pc). For sony vegas render settings I tried rsmb, straaight motion blur, but even though it was smoother, the quality of the video got worse and harder to see gameplay. So eventually I discovered that the simle settings were actually optimal. I use smart resample, then render at 1920x1080, and 60 fps. Bit rate for this video was 24 000 000, but will try 240 000 000 for next video. There was one more thing but dont remember. But ye I could make a video in the future on my render settings if it is needed.
