Murder! Murder! I don't know how someone can be utterly bloodthirsty and completely adorable simultaneously, but not only does Cleo pull it off, she pulls it off with style.
Wow Cleo. You really outdid yourself on this base. It's sad that you and Joe never got to finish the S8 castle, but I bet you learned so much about building large structures from that project. Proud of you.
okay, that conversation with XB has got me wondering what the armor stand equivalent of boudoir photography is. That could get complicated. Or at least complex.
All the shapes necessary exist in game. The textures of them and their "physical" proportions I imagine would make it more of an interpretive(?) piece though.
I like the little balcony out the back. Your base is amazing, and I cannot even fathom creating such a thing! I love the timelapse and chat. That's not a Mincrafter, that's a Plush. *nods sagely*
thank you SO MUCH for commentating the timelapse! I usually skip them if they are just building and music, but actually hearing your thought process as the timelapse plays is absolutely perfect!
I really interested in how you feel about timelapses... I love making timelapses and trying to make them interesting, but I know it's not everyone's taste, but I'd love to learn more about what puts you off, if you feel like letting me know?
@@catsandcrafts171 Sure! For timelapses, I skip over them when they are just music and building. I most of the time have Minecraft videos on the side as I do other things, and watch them mainly for the personality of the people playing. So, I skip over the "just music" timelapses. However, when they have commentary, it makes it feel like its actually part of the video, rather than a break from the action.
whoah! this whole build looks so fancy, the color palette and details are incredible! i can just imagine sitting on the outside, admiring the plants, listening to the muffled screams of the little people doing horrible things inside, maybe even sipping on a cup of tea(rs), yknow, all the relaxing castle stuff :)
That cinematic fly around of your finished base is excellent….puts everything in perspective, especially the entrance. Now those gorgeous seahorses have obvious purpose. You took your amazing sculpting skills and applied them to your architecture, and now I want your base in a snow globe! Very well done!
Oh my god, Cleo... worth the wait!! The castle is awesome. Beautiful and stately, it looks ancient yet alive. This must have been so much work, and it turned out so well!
10:20 xB always knows how to make Cleo excited about doing an armor stand project for him (like the blood and guts in S7 zombie land, or the people getting torn apart by the worm in S8).
Congratulations on this milestone. Looks amazing. Now lets see if you finish the back. (Update: should have waited a few minutes. The only known Hermit Crafter to finish the back of a build)
The amount of saint-like excrement I want to exclaim over the transformation on the base is entirely family unfriendly. It went from a completely plain blank wall that's been screaming for some love all season to something that looks like it's been Scarrrrrr'd for life. The transformation was amazing to behold, and I enjoyed the really long timelapse with voiceover format for it.
I love the base it's looking great, I'm really excited to see what you build for xB Cleo gore armor stands are always great On the Realm I play with my friend he wants it to stay family friendly because sometimes he has younger siblings play on his server, but at my Nether Portal I have tentacles of a Lovecraftian God coming through and just eviscerating the Cultists like ones torn in half and getting eaten with Nether crimson plants used as gore, and then one is hiding in a corner trying to hold in his insides, and I was expecting my friend to get mad when he saw it because I created a bloodbath at the portal, but instead he just looked at it and said it was fine. I just can't wait till he sees my homage to My Bloody Valentine in my Mine with the Cannibalism 😆
So glad you're feeling better! The building is absolutely gorgeous!! I can not wait to see the armor work again, is gonna be epic :3 Guessing That minecrafter is Cleo, in Medusa outfit?
Alright, now normally I wouldn't validate a month's worth of parking at once, but your work was so fantastic! I'll go ahead and just stamp all these forms for you. Annnd all validated Cleo great job once again!
Cleo: "Validate me..." Reassuringly: "you are valid. Also do you think you build a little too much storage box for your lovely crown? I fits lovely as a tiara!"
Cleo: "I know what you're thinking, that's not a lot of progress..." Me: "What are you talking about, you've done more work on your base in this episode than I've ever done on any Minecraft base ever."
I think the hermits should have (with permission, of course) a sound bite of Iskall saying "... of doom" to use whenever they say it in their voice over. Would've been perfect for the "edifice of doom" line describing the effect of working on the outside of the base.
The wooden bridge is very nice on the back. I like the walkway that turns the corner from one building to the next as well. You have indeed achieved a walkable base.
Absolutely beautiful. Might add some small shrubs to the lawn or a small tree or two to the lawn. Congrats on getting the back done as well. Glad you're feeling better, you've been missed.
its Ditto, whenever that bit is done its always Ditto. there is no other pokemon, theyre all just Dittos, even if most of the forget they were a Ditto and got stuck in that shape
Absolutely great base detailing. Looks like a plausible fancy castle (the stately home kind rather than the defensible kind of course). The greenery is such a great thing. And those windows!
Incredible build Cleo. It's really beautiful. Definitely something to be proud of. Loved the interaction with XB too. It was like you were subtly coaxing out what XB was too scared to say he wanted. That's gonna be a really fun project.
The way you voiceover the timelapses is great; it could be nice to give that as a suggestion to Tango as well (from your perspective) because he's also struggling with tthe concept of spending dozens of hours finishing his Castle in 1 timelapse that people might skip.
Oh my gosh the base is looking absolutely Gorgeous, I love all the little details and the overgrowth and it's just so cool! Also, had a giggle at the "I even did the back" XD.
Cleo I've got to be honest - u base is my favourite by far. It's not always the incredible building that makes a base good it is the story and life within it. Ur base is very creative and original - quite inspiring. Not only that but u have put urself out of your comfort zone and u have smashed it. Once u add armour stands. I honestly believe this to be a top 3 in hemitcraft bases ever. Thanks for making so many people smile:)
Cleo, the details you added made your base look so much more beautiful! I do feel this is the most beautiful base you have and detailed base you have made, rivaled only by the joined efforts of you and Keralis in S7 with the beautiful Zoo. I'm in love with your base this season.
0:45 Cleo: put little people inside Me: that sounds nice. Cleo: that do horrible thing Me: well this is one of the resasons i love watching cleos videos Cleo is really underrated. More people should know her and enjoy her videos there amazing.
Please tell me we're getting another teeny-tiny plushie Cleo! I missed them last time and have been wishing for them to return. Also your base looks amazing, you deserve to be validated, I want it for my base
This is honestly my favorite hermit build ever! It’s gorgeous! Thanks for the update on the gaming carts, it was so cool to see pictures of the kiddos playing on them ❤
The back looks so cool!! The front does too of course :) On the front in the semicircle, I think those 2 extra circle towers ended up making a big big difference
What a beautiful build! You did sooo much work and it looks amazing! Who's that Minecrafter? My guess it is the most adorable plushie Hermitcraft has ever seen, YOU!
I LOVE the building, it looks beautiful! I'd really love to see some variation in the terrain around the space, something with levels that shows how the land informed the architecture, and why the builders chose that particular design.
Cleo, the base looks absolutely incredible!!! The gradients, the leaves, just everything comes together so very nicely. I can't wait to see what you do with landscaping and armour stands
Wow, the details really made this base pop! I have always loved the shape getting taller as is comes around! Validated I can't wait to see new interior get built.
This absolutely RULES!! Holy crap that is an insane amount of work to finish in one ep, nevermind doing the back as well (and all while dealing w/ tooth stuff)! The draping of the leaves and ways you've leveraged windows, walkways, and small details to completely transform the starting boxes into a work of art is amazing 🥰
Really liking the way your base turned out. A good mix of eccentric and uniform with a great touch of mystery/villainess energy. 👌 Can't wait to see what you do with the interior and Joe's mine. I'm guessing we'll be seeing a Teeny, Tiny, Plushy Cleo again.
