My teacher in 10th grade taught us the words to this song and quizzed us on it. The highest score got free concert tickets. Glorious times.

Back in the 90's, when I was a teenager, I used to translate loads of lyrics to my native language using dictionary and writing them down on a piece of paper. One day, I've translated "A Tout Le Monde" , left the the paper with it on a table in the living room and went out with friends. My dad came back home and read the lyrics and thought I'm going to hurt myself, so he got into a cab and spend two hours driving around town and looking for me (90s, pre mobile phone era) to eventually find me all well with friends in the pub. I'll never forget his face when he found me. He was scared but happy in the same time. It was so many years ago, hes now dead, but each time I listen "A Tout Le Monde" it reminds me my dad and that moment.

My son died days ago and I thought I wouldn't be able to listen to Megadeth ever again as that was our thing but listened to this song last night while trying to pick songs for his funeral and it's giving me such comfort, not only was it his favourite Megadeth song but it could have been written especially for us. Gonna go on his final journey wearing his A Tout Le Monde hoodie. Rest in peace Tom, thank you for being the best son and for just being you. And thank you Dave for writing such a beautiful and poignant song and indeed for enriching mine and Tom's lives with all your music throughout our lives..

My brother John, who was a HUGE Megadeth fan, passed away 2 days ago. He once dedicated this song to his friend who had died and I'm dedicating this to him now. I miss him dearly.

These lyrics are among the best I have ever heard. My finacé is terminal with brain cancer and I've been struggling terribly and this song has helped me so much through this struggle and so much of what he says is true. The opening lyrics just make me think of the harder we try to control our circumstances the more out of control things tend to feel for us and the good things in life simply pass us by. Value and cherish those you love because you never know what hell lurks just around the corner...although her body may not be with me forever she will always be in spirit, mind, heart and soul.

Definitely one of Megadeth's greatest masterpieces!!

Hearing this song reminds me of my own life at 53yrs old now and How little I have accomplished all my dreams of how my life should have been.

Originally I wasn't a huge fan of Megadeth. Yes, there were a few songs I liked but I wasn't a HUGE fan. Then, I found this song and ever since they have been one of my favourite metal bands.

I love dave's unique way of singing, he doesn't try and push himself to hit some crazy note - he just finds a way to say the words and sound rough and weathered and cool :)

I just lost my dad to suicide, this song brought me to tears. I believe he visited me in my dreams to tell me goodbye and that he loves me. I miss my dad.

My dog died almost 8months ago. She died in my arms. She was sick with liver failure and I was taking care of her night and day for about a week straight. I swear the look in her eyes said "thank you, but I have to go now. Goodbye." Right before she conked out. I found this song shortly after...and I love Megadeth it took forever for me TO FINALLY check out their discography but im glad I did. A tout le monde is a very powerful, soothing song. It makes me think of my babygirl.

A Tout Le Monde!!!

I'm 32 and I don't know how I've gone my entire life without having heard this song, but by the end of it I'm feeling such intense heartache. A friend of mine was so obsessed with playing guitar he had a battery-powered mini amp strapped to his back almost 24/7 so he could walk and play wherever he felt like it. He was a huge metalhead and I knew the first time I heard him play that he would be famous for it someday, but he passed away earlier this year so now the world will never see his talent and I feel so absolutely privileged to have witnessed it in my lifetime. This song just brought back a lot of really nice memories. Thank you.

In February ‘93 there was no solution to a temporary problem because I just lost focus. I ate a handful of valiums, and I overdosed… Why I would want to voluntarily kill myself through the use of stuff that’s not supposed to do any good for me just makes me rethink my whole way of life right now". Dave has also said if he had only a little time to live, one soundbite; he wanted everyone to know that good, bad, or indifferent; he loved them all. I remembered the first time I came across Megadeth. I was at my friends house and I noticed this CD on their kitchen table, the album depicted with an old lady hanging up babies on a line. Like when you hanging out clothes for them to dry. I asked my friend if I could borrow the CD. He said: '' Sure! But the only best song is number 4...'' And number 4 was ''A Tout Le Monde''. And that was the day I became a Megadeth fan. Man, I should visit my friend and thank him for introducing me to Megadeth.

My husband just went to the Megadeth concert in Hamilton Ontario this spring. He said out of all the concerts he has been to this one was the best and he's been to a lot. He went with my 27 year old son and this was his first time seeing a concert and he loved it. This song is so real now and a lot heavier if even slightly different as a little over a week ago, my husband was called by his ex wife to tell him that his 31 year old son was found in a tent passed away due to an overdose. My husband hasn't heard from or seen his own son in years even though he tried desperately and it tore him apart. He has been thinking about going to see them again in Windsor On but due to funeral costs now he will be unable to. Love everyone.
