Oh man! I myself find this album amazing. I used to jam to it when I was 16 but now that I'm older, I can appreciate they where doing more. Thanks for the support. Studying up for this song I found some Chris Poland videos on youtube. He is really pretty good. Thanks again.
Thanks man. I used a Marshall 2203 profile done by Vladimir Berns. It was on the share page. For Dave's channel I dialed the gain way back, like half way on the amp. For his pedal I used a DS Plus . Gain was like on 2 or 3. On Chris's side the amp gain was like 3/4 up. I used a Mouse pedal, which is supposed to be a Rat pedal, for that. Having the individual tracks really helped with that.
Thanks Arnold! Hope to talk to you some time. I was kind of out your way in October. I went to India for 18 days. I should have made a vacation video like you did. Was my first time out of the stats. Hope all is well.
There is a way to do it by cents, but I just tuned to the album. Exodus tuned 1/4 a step down too. This is what it is in in cents. 427.474054108Hz. From a thread on the subject. About 427.5. There are guitar tuning vids at 1/4 down. Exodus and Megadeth are a little off from each other so I tune to the album. Hope this helps.
Not sure what that would be. The guitars are me. I got the backing tracks without guitar and put myself on top of them. I know I'm not megadeth but it's my best of a cover by myself.
Your economics of the fretboard have no sense to me. You are obviously a decent player but the way you play riffs is totally weird and quite wrong. Starting from the intro all the way to the end of the song. Mustaine always advocated economy of motion. I suggest transposing riffs in another position again, this just sounds off tbh. Constructive criticism welcome?
@@9CRonaldo8Kaka I am hitting those notes. I am playing the F# and G chords as 4ths and not 5ths as that is what the isolated tracks sound like. So instead of (D string-5-4-2) (A string 5-4) I am playing (D string 5-4) (A string 7-5-4). I went back and looked at their live videos and it looks as if they are playing 5ths instead of 4ths. I have smaller hands than Mustain so it makes it easier for me to hit the notes. I always played it with 5ths before but the isolated tracks sounded like 4ths. The reason the momentum seems of is you have to play strictly to the syncopation or it goes off. This took about 15 minutes of solid playing that one part and I got tied of playing it after working the whole song up over a week or two. I don't mind constructive criticism and you seem quite kind and reasonable. A lot of people can be down right trolls. Your post seems to have merit and I had to give some time to think of a proper response and is an interesting tread. I could possibly redo it but my channel is kind of small and it takes a lot of work to do a vid. Repost don't always do so hot but I haven't seen that many covers of this song so maybe in the future. Have been working on something else but it makes sense to have it right if youtube is where people get their tabs.
@@relzric What an amazing response! Yeah I was trying to not come off as douchy or whatever. I think I'm gonna put a Bad Omen rhythm wise on youtube, I could link it to you if you'd want?
