Dave is a beast and the best. He deserves all the credit and accolades. Poland is on another level, he deserves more credit one of the very best lead players you have never heard of. David, that bass section……. I’m still picking my jaw up off the ground and Gar. Gar was amazing. If Gar was around today, he would be listed in on of the top drummers of all time
Thanks, for the upload. That's the speed of an entire Metallica show played, in one song! LoL This line-up was probably the best thrash band to walk the earth, at that time. Jr's right hand was going 100mph and the low E string was throbbing. Dave was on it singing and playing, Poland's intro leads were flawless, and Gar was his usual 1000mph praying mantis. Ferocious playing from all 4 of them. If the sound was just a little better this would have been a great example of Megadeth firing on all cylinders. R.I.P. Gar.
this band has the best line up. megadeth the father of thrash metal and still kicking, in case you don't believe me watch other bands' testimony they all credited to Dave Mustaine.
Time is relative. Also song starts at 23 secs and ends at 4:01 which makes it 3:38, which is 28 sec shorter than the original (4:03) on the record. That means a good 25% faster.....
Mustaine has always wanted to be the lead guitarist in Megadeth concerts from their early days until recent times. Watch the shows when Broderick was in the band between 2009-2010 and you will notice how his amplifier was heard lower than Mustaine
@@infectedvoice4670 yea and it's really sad cause Poland is like 10 times better than mustaine, especially in this song. Poland's solo hear is spot on, just excellent, mustaine's is a pile of shit
He's talking about if he left Metallica, and well Dave wrote almost all of peace sells before the record was even out check some older shows and he's already playing Set The World Afire, Black Friday, The Conjuring, My last words, Devils Island, and many other songs. Matter of fact he already wrote the song Rust In Peace...Polaris a while back but never released it. Dave just knew how to pick good players not his fault.
That's the BC Rich Bich he used with Metallica and on the first two albums(Peace Sells liners also mention ST-IIIs being used, I guess that's Poland?). Same one he's using in the Berkeley '84 gig. He had the wings painted black and put stickers on it at some point. One of the ones that was pawned off and resulted in Poland and Samuelson getting kicked out. BC Rich has changed hands half a dozen times since the late '80s, not sure how things are in terms of QC but they still make it, now called the "Rich 'B'". Prices on the real '80s ones used to be decent but they've gone a bit crazy since CoVID.
