@@theabsolute23 I made some serious progress on learning this song today! I unlocked an essential groove that I was trying to get for a very long time and I didn’t realize how easy it was but that’s usually how it goes 😂 anyway that made me the happiest I’ve been in a while. Because I was super frustrated. Lolol. Yeah sorry I don’t know why I told you that.
@@JayDillDrums no you’re good bro it’s an exciting song I’m happy for you. I learned in a kinda unconventional way so I’m not great with high hat dynamics of which there are a lot in the intro so this song isn’t one of my strong suits. I prefer lucretia where I dont have to do a lot of work lmao
@@theabsolute23 exactly!! I’m very close I’d say I have about 60% of the song down. Just have to work on a couple parts. The part before the solo and the solo I can absolutely nail. Because they’re really not that intricate but the beginning is absolutely insane.
I wonder why so many hardcore metallica fans think that Lars is best drummer. This is way better than Lars´s drumming skills. Nick´s drumming sound´s very groovy and he´s technical skills are great. Lars other hand... What we get... Almost every metallica song: basic drum beat. RIP Nick Menza.
I've never seen ONE guy saying lars is the best drummer. Some say he is their favorite and thats fine. Nick is alot better of course but lars could play his easier songs, people on youtube can also do them so
DMeeks yeah there's no problem with people having a preference, but like I said there's people who genuinely believe he's the best drummer ever. That's just not true
You should include here for posteriity that this is the original drum sound before mustaine decided to retrigger/remix/loudness war many parts of the album.
the sound of the drums isnt great but what he writes on it is really good.. thats the issue i have with rust in peace. great songwriting but not the greatest drum sound.
