I love the little interlude with Sans on the marimba and the hints that, amidst all the battling, Sans is rocking out too. He likes his remix and is having far too much fun with it lmao.
This is honestly my favourite Megalovania remix. It PERFECTLY captures the epicness of the sans bossfight without it feeling overwhelming, it's not so serious that it completely misrepresents the character of Sans but not so silly that it undermines the entirety of the genocide route. The music is simply stunning, the way it deviates from the standard Megalovania melody without sounding like an AU song, the subtle references sprinkled throughout (i especially love how the beginning sounds very similar to the beginning of Reality Check TTS, just a chef's kiss). The other characters leitmotifs just getting cut off by the slashing, the bait and switch of the fakeout ending (the sans singing solo is honestly one of the best bits i've seen in Undertale content EVER), the just pure power of the real ending- There is so much to just the music that could deserve an entire essay worth of text just to appreciate the _surface_ of what makes it so great. And the animation, oh Angel the animation- I don't even know where to start just the postprocessing effects alone are so *_MEATY_* . The Megalovania text present trough almost the whole music video is just so crunchy in the best way possible, the marimba section is just _so_ adorable. The synthwave aesthetic present through some of the transitions, the 3:32 section just being basically a sketch, the 3D effects of the judgement hall and the soul, the "ghost" versions of the other characters the fact that the entire sans singing solo is custom sprite work, the starry background present in some of the og sans sprite somehow looking so cool with just few shapes and some gradients- I- I simply cannot describe how *_PERFECT_* this piece of art is and the fact that you did everything from the music through artwork to the editing by yourself is simply inspiring. I got into the UT/DR fandom around the start of 2020 and i've not seen something capture the sans bossfight just so _masterfully_. The fact that this video has barely above 10k views after almost 2 days is simply criminal. Congratulations Mathew on being one of, if not the most talented person in the whole Undertale fandom. I love how well detailed this is, i have heard this all day and notice a few things. 1-In the first appear of Undyne, Toriel and Papyrus: You can see Toriel is the only one that wasn't kill inmediately, i think that's because she's the first one (boss) you kill in genocide, and that mean you doubt more in the fact of killing her, afterwards you can kill faster and without remorse. 2-After that you can hear for a while the sound of different knife being strike, like sans being there to see all the monster you've killed, that can also be a hint to: Sans knowing all that you've done and that he can no longer stay idly. 3-From this point 3:40 forward you can notice a line resalting in the body of Sans doing refference to his determination to kill you being more from what his body can resist I actually want Mathew to see this coment
As an 3 years Undertale fan, i am surpised *how well made this is* I thought there's not gonna be any more mix that is *more unique and better* than *Reality Check Through The Skull* but congrats, you earned the title, at least for me. Now let's see what do we have here, as a fan who has listened to a bunch of Megalos and Undertale themes: The beginning has a nice STMPWYFS leitmotifs, with yes, *a skele-tons of Orchestra* The rest, like people are saying, it has the 2018 EDM vibes, and i love that. I Also really *LOVE* the way you put the leitmotifs in, has to say perfect timing. The best details are "Once Upon The Time" and some "Waterfall" leitmotifs, i really enjoyed those. Oh and not like some others "poorly made" remixes, you actually had some freestyle in this! And finally, i have to say that HOLY SHIT the animation is *INSANE* I really like the cut to Sans playing the malimba, it's just really smooth Oh and did i forgot something? It's the *details* ! That one scene really show how "Sans always like to kidding around" and Paps is always being... Well yeah, annoyed by him of course. And the effects are too godly, i can't imagine how long did it take you to do all of this. Overall, i give this a DETERMINATION/10, it's truly a golden experience for me to see this, especially when i've seen your [GAMER MOVE] a while ago. Have a good one, and stay *Determined!*
This... this is beyond amazing. I was introduced to Megalovania through Undertale, and ever since it's been my favorite track from the game. Countless remixes have been listened to, but never have I found any to blow my mind as much as this one has. I'm not even just talking about the song itself here, but everything. The overwhelming amount of work and love you must have put into this is as clear as day. I am so grateful that I found your channel by looking up remixes for Smart Race the other day. In my opinion, this is THE BEST Megalovania Remix of all time. Animation, spritework, music. . it also feels more humorous like sans himself, not edgy or melodramatic, but not too memey and still serious, I would consider this the definitive Megalovania.

WELL THEY ARE! 0:06 1:41 3:32 4:51 5:16 i was expecting mixed media of 3d pixel art, animation, 2d pixel art, and just normal art, this is incredible! the song itself is great, albeit im not usually into that sort of thing (and always hate when electronic songs randomly have words or use sans voice in it). like all of this is amazing like what the hell i came here expecting some generic music not a work of art and damn good music what the hell. this deserves over a million views edit: just realized how sick the intro is, it starts with a more lighthearted song that might play when you fight sans then the room goes all black and megalovania starts playing and the lights from the windows correlate with the beats OH MY GOD THIS IS SO COOL

This is without a doubt one of the best Megalovania remixes I've ever heard, and coming from me that's some of the highest praise you could ever get. That intro started out absolutely *_fantastic,_* and the song just somehow kept getting better and better as it went on! This remix would have still been amazing if you just covered Megalovania in your style, but all the changes you made to the song and all the parts you added make it so much better!! And I can't forget to mention the animation that goes with this song, it's just as phenomenal as the remix itself! the animation in this rivals actual movies with tons of people animating it, it describes how the fight really goes. and it isnt as edgy as most megalovania remixes. it perfectly describes toby fox's style. incredible.
people have said everything specific there is to say, so I'll just say, it takes a LOT to make a Megalovania remix and have it not only stand out, but be outstanding. even more with an EDM remix of it considering the sheer number of them. but you've absolutely pulled that off _and_ made a video to go with it engaging enough that I, the type of person to put something on and do other shit while listening, had to stick around on the video to watch it through also ending on a major chord was sick

Usually with songs in the under the undertale franchise and au’s, I can find faults. However, I find no faults in this song. This song, for me at least, has or should have more of an impact on the undertale song community than reality check through the skull. This song perfectly embodies what I believe the sans fight should be. On top of that. I absolutely love the little animation of sans on the xylophone. I cannot put into words how good this song is. If you are seeing this, thank you for this masterpiece.
With the sound effects and the deaths, this definitely feels like your sins are crawing down your back. Since megalovania is said to actually be OUR song, the player's, this remix feels like there is actually a kind of remorse and regret in there. The other songs playing in the background really adds to that, that we are remembering what we did. I love this so much!

I cannot put in words how amazing this song is I originally thought that camillas remix and reality check were the iconics, but i know that this would be the next one on my list The slow put in of spear of justice, heartache, and bonetrousle were amazing, and the way you put them together was phenomenal. And i even heard spamton and jevil in there. And i love the marimba cut in as well, it showed happy memories. Plus the piano in there really popped out the entire song for me. Plus sanses vocals made him look like a character from fnf lol The animations, however, were more than amazing, they were sans-ational (pun intended) and the way you drew them wows me so much. Please show me your ways- As someone whos learning how to make music and come up with iconic melodies, i would surely take your remix as a inspiration for my studies. With all that said, I wholeheartedly enjoyed this remix and would listen to it on loop over and over again. I hope to hearing more from you and seeing more amazing work.

EVER. fantastic remix, it had me banging my head and gave me so many emotions!! truly a masterpiece of a song and the bits of the story of undertale in it are exquisite. i specially enjoy how lightheaded it is even though there's a darkness lurking behind. you chose this, no mercy. the part where His Theme comes in is fantastic to me, my favorite for sure. specially because the true pacifist ending is so emotional, hearing it here just gives it another layer upon the ton of layers. and then bringing it back up with the rock and guitar solo, hell yeah. not gonna lie, they had us on the first part. anyways, i really appreciate your song, thank you so much for bringing to life a wonderful creation!!!
Seems like everyone is doing heartfelt comments, so I might as well. It has been a long, _long time._ since I've heard a megalo that had me listening to the end. After being in this fandom for 8 years, the song "Megalovania" no longer hits as hard simply because I've heard it so. Often. Obviously in the beginning it was great. Here was a banger song from a banger game, being remixed and rearranged to the fan's content. But over the years, megalo, after megalo, after megalo...it got boring. in 2020 I heard Reality Check Through the Skull for the first time and I was _floored._ The sheer quality was astounding, and it gave me a renewed vigor for Undertale's musical fanbase. To this day it stands at the top of the megalo throne alongside Tenkitsune's remix, Power of Four by Lucas Pucas, and now... This. I'm not sure if this can even be considered a megalo anymore, it's just too good. It might as well be a fangame song, an fnf song(due to that one segment where he sings XD), and a medly. And the _visuals._ the visuals add so much character to a song that could've easily thrived with just the static bar background and title with lights. But you had to go and give us an entire music video. I like the mix of styles, the smoothness of movement, the dynamic camera angles- everything. The whole thing has a certain cheek about it that you wouldn't ordinarily get. Great megalo. 5 stars, would reccomend.
Gosh this is my exact thought when i first listened to this This is like... The first remix in years after Reality Check Through The Skull that has *its own feeling* in the actual Megalovania. My thoughts are always "when we can have another one like RCTTS again?" And now, this exists I have the hope that this will get the attention it deserved and ppl will actually starting to think about "the actual value" and "their own perspective" into the song, rather than just changing the few notes, or just adding more unnecessary leitmotifs Well, we will see about that

I came back again to re-experience this. HOLY- The remix itself, its ..just, ITS AMAZING! The litemotifs of Toriel, Papyrus and Undyne just- GO. SO. HARD. Especially the part with battle against a true hero!!, not only that, THE GUITAR SOLO WAS SO DANG GOOD. Plus the video itself!
